Me too Georgie, I need to get a grip on things before I slip up yet another size.
  • Exactly tea. I don't want to go up another dress size either. I was a size 8-10 for years, but now I'm a 12 edging on to a 14. I'm only 5'6 and small boned, so any extra weight just doesn't look right.

Besides, I just feel really crap :( Eating too much stodge, carbs and sugar, and I don't know why when it makes me lousy afterwards. I never really had much of a sweet tooth, infact I still don't really, although it has increased. I can literally eat only 5 jelly babies and I feel nauseous.

Georgie,Tea - me too - except it's not a new years resolution coz I have had my "Joe Browns" challenge in my head for a while - i.e. I want to be able to buy and get into standard Joe Browns clothes as I really like them. Hubby bought me a lovely Joe Browns cardigan for xmas which he had to special order for a size 22 - hurumpf! (but it was sweet of him and it is a lovely snuggly purple chunky cardy) - So I am calling it my Joe Browns challenge in my head..........my waist is already on board (size 12 - no worries) but my bum and chest don't listen much (size 22).
Ooooooooooooo............ I have finally thought of a positive thing I could put on a list of 5 things about myself - 1) I am blessed with a wonderful hourglass figure that goes a long way to deceptively hiding the true nature of my weight!

And now I have the theme tune in my head.

Not really a New Year Resolution, but now I've dropped the side effect weight gain plus a few more pounds which I have no doubt put back on over Christmas, I want to lose another 2-2.5 stones which will make me a size 12. I can't seem to get any smaller than that no matter what I do - my body type favours the brick sh1thouse type. I am tall with broad shoulders and childbearing hips (oh the irony). I am genetically made for tilling fields and dropping out babies. I am blaming my Irish granny on one side and the Highlanders on the other.

    I have de-grumped.:)
I am wondering if the irritability is hormonal because I'm not particularly stressed or sleep deprived which is usually when I'm biting everyone's head off. And I'm losing the plot about the stupidest things that I wouldn't normally notice.
Now deciding whether the knee is up to de-boinging Gitdog. It's calmed down from shooting pains to continual ache, which is progress. And he's gazing hopefully at his lead.

Is there somewhere you can take him where he can get boings out without you having to boing with him? I can't remember if he's dog aggressive or just nuts :rotfl:
