Yes, or the day after I go and buy some more.

Do they not have laptops you can borrow?

Not configured for development purposes with all the tools required, no. The only laptop we have is mainly used for demonstrations. It's a tiny, tiny company, we don't have things like an IT department or HR or anything like that.

Yep, and two of my work monitors, whole thing is set up on my other desk in my study at the moment. It's a proper faff having to lug all that log out to the car and then back in again before work when I come back, especially as we are on the second floor (no lift either).

It would be much easier if I could just get permission to configure the gateway to allow me (and others) to remote in, rather than having to physically move the hardware...

Jeez, my company would go MENTAL if we just took a PC and related gubbins home! Most of us have laptops now so can just work from home if needed (I've done it when we've not had anyone to watch Baby Bird although a toddler and work do not mix very well!). TBH, if I were you I'd have just called in sick and told them that if they provided me with a laptop and the ability to connect I'd be happy to work from home but as it stands, I can't do anything! :p
Overcome the notion that you must be ordinary. It robs you of the chance to be extraordinary!

  • Was sitting here feeling pretty glum anyhow, (have been for the last week or so tbh) as it's round about this time last year when my Dad really started to go downhill fast. It's bringing everything back and I'm having flashbacks to how it was and wondering where the hell this year has gone, it's gone so fast :(

So I'm sitting there quietly just having a mug of tea, minding my own business, when D comes downstairs and blunty asks "what's up with you?", so I tell him I'm feeling down and why.....and he just walks off back upstairs, no hug, no conversation, nothing :(

I understand he's feeling pretty crap about his job etc, (and I think that's another thing that set me off, just one thing on top of another, the uncertainty etc), but how hard would it have been to even show abit of affection, abit of comfort? Like I did for him yesterday.

At hard times, you're meant to pull together, he just pulls the other way. Why? Why act like a total kn*b? It was just so cold :(

    I can't stop crying now :(

I have a cool fire battery and a sub ohm top for it (can't remember the brand of it but will check when I'm home), the battery seems to last a while and produces quite a bit of vapour, plus the top means that if you use low nicotine liquids you get more of the flavour, depends if you're wanting it more for the nicotine or flavour?
