Georgie - oh I completely agree - the last thing I ever want to do is go and tell the stupid idiot how much he has upset me - I mainly want to throw things at him. Mine sounds like yours!!!

Gruffalo was mentioned somewhere before in respect to a dear sweet son..............it made me laugh.................... my hubby has a gruffalo chocolate advent calendar that he insists is better than my fuzzy felt advent calendar.........ah the joys of being 40 odd and married - who says being grow'd up is no fun?!?!

Pyxis, what a lovely little story :) I saw these the other day and I thought of you as you love spiders https://www.etsy.com/uk/listing/114161367/medium-handmade-hanging-copper-wire?ref=hp_mod_rf I even fancied getting one for myself, and I'm not keen on spiders!

    Yes, they're great!

When I was in Venice, I saw some lovely glass ones, but the legs were so long and delicate that I thought they'd be bound to get broken on the way home........my case was very full, so no chance of a large padded box in it!.......so I left them.
    (I just lurve spiders!)

I look like I've eaten a bowling ball. That's how swollen my stomach is. If I was on a train, people would be offering me a seat.

I think the male brain sees things in a very practical way and if they're upset, they look for solutions. Whereas most women want someone to acknowledge we're upset, and offer comfort. For example, if I say to Mr CP that I feel blue, he says "Why?". There is no why. I just feel blue and need a hug and my hair stroked. That'll teach me to marry someone who doesn't like 'The Princess Bride'.

I have this stupid interview thing tomorrow. Done all the prep, but still not feeling right about it. Not sure why, it just feels...off. Might just be the blues though. I am also not getting my Christmas on.

Ok Team WaS. Your challenge is to get me in the festive spirit.

I like spiders. But that thing is creepy.

  • A fuzzy felt advent calendar sounds fun flybaby! Better than my yankee candle one. I thought it would be good, but the scents just repeat themselves, and they don't hardly smell much at all.

Good luck for the interview tomorrow code! As for getting you in the festive spirit. Sorry can't help with that one, not feeling it myself. :( maybe the rest of team WaS will fare better....hopefully?!

Just stumbled across my sexy man again

I don't know what's going on with me. I've never been overly fond of kissing, yet this evening I have a real urge to have a long snog with someone (male). DH won't be interested as the football is on.

Just made some hot chocolate. You can eat this stuff with a spoon.

I get like that sometimes WW. And Mr CP almost never wants to humour me. I kind of miss the teenage years where you used to just snog someone for hours.

Having said that, my teenage years mostly involved losing boys I liked to my much prettier and more popular foster sister, so...
