  • Penguin in reply to code I'm the same regarding old cemeteries. I find them peaceful too, and quite fascinating. I'm also the same regarding funeral services, which I think is why I felt so much guilt about not crying all day at my Dad's :( End penguin

    What about this for the teenagers? https://wordery.com/tattoo-colouring-book-beverley-lawson-9781780976549?currency=GBP&gtrck=QlpFYllJL2p0bkxEaHVhYTNyaVJXc2JYMEQyU1NYRWpoRVVxRkNDM2dtdzhDbHZyVlVVR25nczhsaCtZVGVESDRZaStWVkhmdWZYWDVDd0p2VDZrV0E9PQ&gclid=CNre9oj4o8kCFRYUGwodXkYA7A Or would they find it too childish even though adult colouring is really cool right now?

    Afternoon my Lovelies,

    Strange few days.

    Had my friend around friday night who I told you about before. married etc. Well they are splitting up. Does not change anything for me.

    Well we sat chatting away and at 10pm there a rap on the window. My 1st thought it was my ex as he would do that. So poked my head out the curtains and could see it was not. Opened the front door it was someone I went out with for a couple of weeks back in jan/feb time. Came to show me his van he had kitted out said he lost my number and he thought about me a few days ago and tried to remember where I lived. :rotfl:

    So we are going out for a coffee and natter this afternoon.

    Been reading and thanking posts and WW some of those gifts are fab. Think it was GG256 with the M & M link found a present for my dad the book called Please and thank you monkey manners.

    As I told him off the other night as when my mum asked him he wanted a coffee he said neither please or thank you. I told him he was the one who taught me my manners. He was not very happy on being pulled up like that. Don't care how long you been together or married. Still should have manners and respect for that person.

    Suppose I ought to get dressed and think about something to eat.

    Hugs, squishes and handshakes to all that need them. WaS you are doing great. Way better than I would in that situation. So you take it easy and care of yourself.

    Yours

    Calley

    They get manicures. :rotfl: I think I may buy that for someone else though!

    Sorry, I feel like I'm shooting all your great suggestions down. I'm just not familiar with this breed of teenager. I was ridiculously awkward (what do I mean 'was') with messy hair and blue eyeshadow experiments and clothes from clockhouse and other cheap shops. And they are lovely, so I want to get them something they'll like, rather than something they'll just bin. Last year I got them the STI microbe toys, which embarrassed the eldest, but amused the younger one, who went around telling everyone she had chlamydia.

    Amended that one for you, to make it more thread relevant.
    We had our naughty dogs' walk this morning, and I so wanted to let him off the lead, just can't take the chance.

    That's a great site. I think the eldest will really love the inspirational bangles. I think you've missed your calling as a personal shopper WW.

    So will get the younger one the Jack Wills thing*, and the bracelet for the older one.

    * Huzzah for Advantage points.
