Hahaha! Really I need to present WaSp with a list, the trouble is the things I put on a list he either thinks I have enough of or he doesn't know where to start. I really want a snowglobe, I used to adore them as a child and have wanted one ever since. There is way too much choice for WaSp though, he tried last year and spent 20 minutes staring at an array of them and gave up. He also hates crowds and being jostled around and with my birthday being near Christmas it happens a lot. He is great at finding yummy birthday cakes, though!Until one has loved an animal a part of one's soul remains unawakened - Anatole France

**looks perplexed** What are you lot banging on about?! Of course santa and the tooth fairy are real, as is the easter bunny.
My mother made me the most amazing letters from the tooth fairy with amazing fairies drawn in silver and gold...........I particularly remember the one where the tooth fairy gave me a huge lecture about leaving my tooth in my desk at school for a week!0 -
Some good ideas for the hamper there WaS!
Funny you should mention snow globes, I've just been looking at some when I stumbled across them when looking for the yankee candle advent calender (shaped like a snow globe), and they reminded me of the gorgeous one I have upstairs that my Mam & Dad bought me one year. If I remember, I'll post a photo if and when I put it out0 -
Aw, Flybaby! I would have loved a letter like that and kept it forever! Sadly, I missed out a lot on the Tooth fairy because I didn't develop many adult teeth so my baby ones rarely were pushed out. Plus the Tooth Fairy always made me work for my treasure. There would be a note under my pillow with a riddle which would lead to another spot in the flat with another riddle. I eventually found my pound after diligently following the clues.
Aw, I would love to see the photo, Georgie! I may have to buy myself one as my own gift except I have just bought myself a snowman outfit. Oops. Scented candles are another thing I adore, I have some from my birthday last year that I only burn for an hour at a time to make them last!Until one has loved an animal a part of one's soul remains unawakened - Anatole France

My fave candles at the moment (apart from bath and body works which I can't get cause they're in the states) are by Flamingo candles. They're really cute and smell so good!
I'll post a picky for you! There's something magical about snow globes! That could be a challenge for WaSp to keep him entertained, he could look for you the perfect ones you give him some rough ideas of what you'd like inside it?0 -
This is a link for birthday-present-hunting WaSp. This is your soft toy covered (we have four of these and they are great):

I've had an idea on what to buy for Mr CP but it's double what I was planning to spend, after using all my nectar points. But he'd love it and maybe it's better to get him one big yay present than several little meh presents?
Georgie, I've always loved snow globes. There's definitely something very magical about them. I saw a movie once about a girl who went into a snow globe and it was the perfect world, then she'd return to her normal life.
WaS, you could make one. All you need is a jar with a watertight lid, some glue, some glitter and some figures.Eu não sou uma tartaruga. Eu sou um codigopombo.0 -
There's a double up on either at the moment or coming up soon on Nectar points code. I don't know if the thing you're after would be in an included category though.
I think if it's something you know he will absolutely love and definitely get a lot of use out of it, then one big present is maybe the way to go.
Good idea about making a snow globe! I forgot you could do that with a jam jar!0 -
And this for present-hunting-WaSp. You would love this. (You aren't meant to peek)

Hahaha! Thank you whitewing! I am not peeking and emailing the links to WaSp instead!
I would say go for the big yay! present, code if it is something he will really love and you can afford it. Then buy a couple of silly things like candy canes and chocolate santa's for quantity.
I had no idea that you could make your own snowglobes! Where has this been all my life?Until one has loved an animal a part of one's soul remains unawakened - Anatole France
