  • My dad did something similar, elona. My morning gifts would be from Father christmas but my dad would hold some back and give them to me throughout Christmas day and Boxing day which I knew were from my parents and family. It was also much more fun because presents kept appearing!

Never too old. Team with jeans and leggings if you're not about getting the legs out.

Haha WaS. I'm a bad influence.

You aren't too old Gemini! None of us are too old for anything, says the woman surrounded by cuddly toys and crayons.

You are a good influence, Code! Now I shall have to go out for the day before christmas wearing my snowmen dress and matching leggings. I shall team them with bright pink hair extensions and be fabulous. See? Good influence! Getting me out of the flat!

    Why are the sizes 12-14 or 16-18. What if I'm a 14-16??

Also, what are you all buying for the male people? I have no idea what to get Mr CP.

WaSp is getting Bah Hum bug Christmas t-shirt and the traditional Christmas jumper which I will then force him to wear as I do every year. He is also getting a wind up solar radio with a matching torch that has a built in thermometer, compass, whistle and more bells and whistles. He likes things like that. Also a pair of novelty moose slippers (think giant furry moose heads with antlers) which he will also be forced to wear and secretly love.

WaSp is struggling over what to buy me for my birthday. I keep saying cuddly toys, toys in general, chocolate, a snowglobe or socks, he is saying no...

  • I understand about missing your dad, Georgie. This is a difficult month for me too. On the 10th it was my dad's birthday and also the day he almost died having his leg amputated and in 10 days it's my birthday which is the day he took his life. I always miss him a lot every November but I try to think of the happy times, it doesn't always work. Have a hug.

Big hugs, warm handshakes and squishes for everyone today, it sounds like we all need them. Everyone is welcome to hibernate in the fort and I will stand outside and guard everyone whilst enjoying the lovely winter weather and you can all guard me in the summer.
    .

Thanks WaS :) Sorry it's a sad and difficult month for you WaS :( Hugs to you too x x

I love that last paragraph I quoted above! Made me feel all warm and snugly! :A

PJ's in Peacocks are like that regarding sizing code....it doesn't make sense. If you're inbetween, what you meant to do?

For a Christmas presents for D, I'm getting him a Nespresso coffee machine and an Aerochino 3 (milk frother!) as that's what he asked for. I'm making up a coffee inspired hamper (ideas what to put in would be greatly received!), and so far I've got some double walled latte glasses, a shaker to put either chocolate or cinnamon in, some stencils for the top of the coffee, some pods and I'm just about to order some chocolates which look like biscuits.

Every year I get him a big box of liquorice such as Catherine Wheels or the pipes with the sprinkles on the end, a bad cat desk calender for his work desk, and usually a magazine subscription.

I got D a pair of zombie slippers one year WaS! They were cool but so huge that he couldn't walk round in them properly! :rotfl:

What's his rough budget, do you know WaS?

I did a coffee hamper for WaSp last year Georgie! I bought much the same as you along with some flavoured coffee, some flavoured coffee syrups, a coffee scoop that also had a clip that closed the bag (they sell them on Amazon and Ebay), almond coffee biscuits, a T-shirt which said caffeine loading (Amazon again), chocolate coated coffee beans and a very elaborate coffee spoon that had an ornamental handle.

Oh, whitewing, that's adorable! Look at it's little face! He usually spends around £50 although he has been known to give me money in an envelope! Poor WaSp gets very stressed buying gifts, I saved him when I took over buying for Milliefleur. The poor woman used to get a plant or flowers for her birthday, Christmas and Mothers Day. Every year.

Nearly bought the owl for littlewing but we got the unicorn instead.

I think we will be able to find something cheaper for you though WaS.

We want quantity as well as quality!
