Actually, Munchkin has a ridiculous number of versions - maybe not that if he buys all the expansions! Loot/love letter is fun (same game, just the original and munchkin versions). Maybe some of the Diskworld games would work as 2 player?

Sorry you've been poorly again WaS, good that the cause has been found(ish!) though. Have been giggling at the thought of latex-clad fruit and veggies!

Feeling less frowny and anxious today after my horrid Tuesday. I had yesterday off as it was DH's birthday so we had a nice day together and today I've seen plans to lessen my workload and finally get rid of the extra work I've been taking on by the time I go away at the end of October so that's good! My manager has also gifted me an arty crafty day at a local arty crafty place as she had booked in to do a course and forgot that she's on holiday so can't go and they can't transfer it and my name was the first to pop into her mind so I'm looking forward to having a whole day to myself, playing with paints and paper and glaze and all sorts in a couple of weeks!

pyxis scrabble? There's lots of online flash games with words and puzzles and things.

Pandemic is an amazing game, but hard as 2 player. Oh, forbidden desert is good , and works well as 2 player. Those 2 are cooperative games, most of the ones I mentioned before you are playing against each other

Munchkin is banned for exactly the reason you gave Dragonette, too many expansions!

We play pandemic a lot (with expansions) and forbidden desert and forbidden island. My favourite is Ticket to Ride, you might like that Pyxis. Upwords is like 3d scrabble. Also mastermind might be good. It's really simple but very thinky!

Had a message from SIL saying she would like baby to come today. I shall try!

Your bonus day sounds lovely Birdie, enjoy it! I want to do more crafting but we have no table and the desk hubby made has been taken up with all his collections of dice and cards for various games!

Just had my assessment for counselling. Not feeling overly positive really. There is a long waiting list and I think I was a little too honest and they may not take me on. Ho hum.

Just had a look at the these games and they all look really good! I love board games but we've only got the standard Monopoly etc and we fall out when playing so maybe a co-op game is the way forward! May get one for our holiday as we'll probably be spending more time in the hotel room than usual.

Oh and get that desk reclaimed! I love crafting, it's wonderful to do something just for me and not having to think about anything other than 'do these ribbons go nicely with this paper?' for a while

Afternoon my Lovelies,

Hugs, squishes and handshakes to all who need them.

I will need to to do battle with my dr's surgery in a min to get an appointment this afternoon. For nearly two weeks (yes I know smacked wrists) I have constant urge to wee. No pain but once I have gone I feel the need to go again. And I am getting a little bit of a ache in my back and its not normal back ache.

Now I need to find something to wee in so I can pour in to an empty fizzy drink bottle :rotfl::eek:
