Btw, I find some of the debates there pretty interesting. Some of the posters are well informed, well educated. Those posters often stick to debating the economy and stay away from the more fundamentalist 60% OFF BY CHRISTMAS threads.

I think you'll find those left several years ago. All you're left with is those adopting the Ronnie Pickering method of debate.;)

Look out, someone on this thread upset the CountOfNothing. Apparently he's so upset by this thread he's cancelled his move to Spain... bonkers.

Oh dear, he's not very happy. It looks like his 'offer them three times your salary' campaigns not gone very well :rotfl:

He even thinks Sibley is Bruno!
I remember, very well, looking for a house in 2007 and thinking, these prices are insane,.

Now, 8 years later, the asking prices are even more insane and wages for real workers have stagnated and the cost of living shot up ( due to QE ).

If the idiots on MSE can't see the collapse coming then who am I to log on there and tell them.

They dont have to listen to what I am saying, I dont listen to them, I dont have to...Im right.

Don't blame me, I voted Remain.

I'm actually trying to help the guy (Crashy and whoever else might read this) to understand how that site works. I would hardly classify myself as a housing bull (evidence my posts here) and not exactly a bear either. More a very cautious person. And yet when I posted on that site to try and challenge my own views as well as others, I got banned. Maybe if it helps them realise they are reading a completely selective view (as selected by the moderators) on that site, they'd be more willing to challenge their own.

They did you a favour - get over it.

They're still wetting themselves month after month about the constant % of reductions on Rightmove. They've been proving everywhere's crashing for two years now using this methodology whilst prices increase.

Exactly the same as Foxtons being a forward indicator they picked a metric which they couldn't back test (Foxtons was new to market & Property Bee is a new discovery for them) so it's a simple case of hoping that Foxtons share price and % reductions is a forward indicator.

What happened to our Foxtons thread - been a bit quiet lately - don't know why.

To be honest, I don't think it's good practice to be 'outing' people with real life names, professions and locations as someone has done on this thread.
Even when it concerns members of the HPC loony bin.
Don't blame me, I voted Remain.

    i.e.

    - I took a punt that prices would fall.
    - They didn't
    - I've paid 8 years rent on the bet
    - I missed out on the cheapest period in history to be in debt
    - I only wanted a house but still own 0% of nothing
    - I now I need someone to blame (who isn't me)

Don't know what he's so angry about all the time - you win some; you lose some.

At least he can afford to pack it all in and retire to Spain whenever he likes.

Yes I thought that was a bit much too.
