SPCome on people, it's not difficult: lose means to be unable to find, loose means not being fixed in place. So if you have a hole in your pocket you might lose your loose change.0 -
ok, i just ordered roslynn uggs from rubbersole as they have 20% off right now , cost, £104, but somewhere on these forums someone said the boots they got from rubbersole were sent back as were shoddy and could be fakes. can this be true? as they are listed as a genuine outlet !0

hello,
I am interested in the oxford canterbury tall boots on the hartlings website on new zealand.
I have read most of this thread:o and all the reviews for these boots & website are a couple of years old.
Any new up to date reviews would be welcome, just want to make sure they are still producing quality goods
thanks0 -
Is "shengli's" post above a contender for the "Worst Attempt at Spam of the Year" Award?

Help! I was wanting some Uggs for my birthday my OH (him not really knowing what genuine Uggs are) bought me some from uggstore.com.au they are not great, uncomfortable and looking at the small print it does say they are Austrailian Uggs and not affiliated with Deckers and so are not classed as fake. However I am not entirely sure if the 'sheepskin' is sheepskin or synthetic, and I don't know how to find out. Also after emailing them it says we can return them at our postage cost and they will refund 80% of the price to cover 'restocking'. OH did phone credit card company but we need to know if we have bought fakes or not and if it. Is a dodgy website - help any suggestions?0

Not fakes as they are not claiming to be Deckers Uggs, indeed they point this out all over their website.
The term UGG to describe these things is being batted around the trademark courts at the moment, and probably will for a long time. Deckers want exclusive right to use it, other "sheepskin boot" manufacturers claim it is a generic term.

p.s. if you want to tell genuine sheepskin, stand back and put a match to it. Real sheepskin smoulders, artificial sheepskin goes up in flames. (Be sensible: if you value your eyebrows, do it to a small sample you have removed for testing in a controlled environment)Come on people, it's not difficult: lose means to be unable to find, loose means not being fixed in place. Thanks - very sad though as they don't fit, are uncomfortable, have an inflexible sole and will cost a fortune to send back and will lose 20% for "restocking"0

Anyone got any thoughts about Legend Footwear? They have a website, shop and also sell via Amazon and eBay and appear to sell shoes from all manner of manufacturers. They don't seem to be listed with Ugg though.
They also demand an extra £2.99 to cover postage costs if you want an exchange (via ebay at least) which I'm sure isn't right under the DSRs!
Not sure whether to risk it.Science adjusts its views based on what's observed.
Faith is the denial of observation, so that belief can be preserved.
