    Hiya,

Sorry if this is been covered before but I want to buy some Cardi Uggs and dont know what size to buy. I am normally a 7.

Also on one site I saw they come in half sizes (e.g. 5.5, 6.5) but on another site normal sizes *confused smilie needed here*

I think (from memory) they say to go either a size (or a size and a half if you are normally a half size) smaller because the cardies give quite a bit.

I am normally a 5 but bought size 4 and they fit perfectly.

    Thanks, both.:)

I see what you're saying & I do agree with you, but I think the OH has washed his hands of the whole thing now & is just happy that I have my xmas present at long last (at great cost to him!) If he was willing to take things further then fine, it is his money after all.

I have emailed Hartings again(today)& explained about the pain I'm suffering. Also reiterated my previous email (that they didn't reply to) about a second pair of insoles. I'm not too hopefull.:(

I feel they're to blame for the first pair of boots(UK7)being too big as that was the size they recommended but I was the one who pushed for them to send a UK6, pretty confident that they would fit from what everyone else had said about them. So is it still their fault?
Yes, I think it is still their fault. They are supposed to want to see the customer happy with their purchase and clearly in this case you are far from happy. It means precious little to them to have to provide you with the correct size (financially speaking) but a lot to you to have to pay so much for a pair of unwearable boots.

If their sizing had been dependable you wouldn't be in this position. They should be falling over themselves to sort this out, not just ignoring you.

I bought Ugg cardy boots for my daughter in law in September from Shudoo in a size 4, as that was the size I got her the previous year in Classic Short Uggs from them. It wasn't till boxing day that she realised they were too loose, but Shudoo still allowed me to exchange them despite the fact I'd had them for over three months.

That's the kind of customer service you should be entitled to. So don't give up...go right to the top in Hartings. Find out the name of the chief executive and tell him your story. Tell them you are acting on advice given in a UK consumer forum when you posted about what was happening with your boots. It must be worth giving it a go, at least.

So should I get a 6.5 or 5.5 in Uggs off the site with the half sizes.

Sorry having a thick day today!:o

    If I remember rightly, a 5.5 is a 5, a 6.5 is a 6 & so on.

And you're not thick, it's more complicated than it should be!

Thanks for replying, just didn't want to order completely the wrong size!
  • I am again having problems with zuccionline. I ordered some UGGs two weeks ago on Wednesday.
After a week of ordering (last Wednesday) I decided to ask for the tracking code for my package since I had not received the boots. Well, I received an auto-respond message saying that one of the pairs I had ordered was now out of stock and they had refunded my account. Another week later I still haven't received the refund, the rest of the boots I ordered, nor have I got any responses for emails I have sent.
I am a patient person but this is getting ridicilous...

Well I hope you haven't ordered because mine came today and I am usually a 6 and I ordered 5.5 and they fit absolutley fine! So the 6.5 should be ok for you.

Now.... I also need a bit of advice please from all you Ugg experts myself!
My Cardys which arrived today are lovely but they have some small pulls in the knit which is visible when the boots are folded down, which is mainly the way I will wear them.

Would anyone agree I should ask the company to replace them or is this quite normal with Cardys? I am wondering if I get another pair will they just also have tiny pulls in them anyway..

I considered cutting them off but worried that in the long term it might cause problems in the stitching and for £85 I really would expect perfection especially from Ugg Australia :o

I would send them back if I was you, my Cardys never had anything like that and you dont want them to get worse especially as they are not cheap you want them to be perfect

Thanks, your right. The more I have looked at them I have become more and more realistic and they are clearly in my book faulty/defective.

I have emailed them to explain and also sent them pictures. I hope they sort it out quickly and make it stress free!
