Looked at the details, they only insure up to £50 & no mention of paying extra for more coverage. No mention of tracking either.

Have emailed Hartings again with the postage costs(£63.49)& will see what they come back with.

Hi again missingink. I have a neighbour whose daughter had an email from Hartings to say that standard GB posting to return boots to New Zealand should be £18, and £22 if sent by Airsure Confirmation which they reckon isn't needed as parcels are never lost.

Don't know if this information might help.

i purchased Uggs direct from Australia for a christmas present.I ended up paying over £25 in customs and Royal mail handling charges! My fault for not reading the small print.

Still waiting to hear back from Hartings-emailed them three days ago & it doesn't usually take them that long to get back to me.

I find your neighbour's experience encouraging, but OH is dead set on sending them tracked & insured because knowing our luck they'd get lost & we'd be nigh on £100 out of pocket & no boots to show for it!:(

Not heard of standard GB posting OS for boots or 'Airsure Confirmation'.

can i just say ive bought some just sheepskin ones, they are fab, same as uggs, cheaper and from UK customer service was excellent, free delivery within 3 days... only mess up was me ordering my same shoe size as i tried on a 5 and boy were they tight, got a 6 and they are a tough saggy.... ;-( https://www.justsheepskin.co.uk
