    missingink, what size are they?

I'm wondering if another Ugg fan on this thread may take them off your hands instead?

They are a UK7/EU40, but as you know, they don't allow that sort of thing here!:naughty:

Have you tried parcelbee.co.uk? I've only used them for UK so far but they've been fine. They use couriers such as UPS, DHL etc and your parcel is tracked. The worldwide 72hr service is £24.99, not sure how much extra insurance would be though. For the UK parcels £50 worth is included.
    Sealed Pot Challenge #817 £50 banked :)

    Many thanks for that, pinkpig.:D

Looked at the details, they only insure up to £50 & no mention of paying extra for more coverage. No mention of tracking either.

Have emailed Hartings again with the postage costs(£63.49)& will see what they come back with.
  • My EMUs arrived earlier in the week and they are fab! I ordered a size down and they are quite snug, but they have already stretched a bit!

Has anyone seen some reduced scuffette slippers please? They don't have my size on zutti as looking for a 7.

I had the same problem with the supertreds missingink, sent them my measurements etc, but they were too big.

In the same boat as you re Shudoo-still waiting to see if the refund has gone into the bank.

Meanwhile, having already paid £75 to Hartings for boots that don't fit, they want us to return them at our own cost for an exchange! Can't find anyone who'll ship to New Zealand for less than £60.

Apologies if anyone's already said this, but is there any way you could return the boots to a UK outlet of the company?

It's ridiculous to expect a customer to return items at such an astronomic cost.

I don't know how they can expect ANYONE to buy online from them - with no opportunity to try on - and pay nearly as much as the boots cost in the first place in the event of needing to exchange them. It's totally unreasonable.

Can't you find out the name of their Chief Executive and email him, explaining your problem? And maybe mentioning you've posted asking for advice on here as you can't believe the cost of a return? They might just help. Worth a try.

    Hope you get something sorted.

It is annoying isn't it? unfortunetly we have a law here called distance selling, where you can return an item if you don't like it/it doesn't fit or similar if you order online. They don't have laws like that in other countries I don't think (correct me if I'm wrong) I don't think Hartings have UK outlets I think they are only based abroad. I think what we need is a separate MSE website or thread where people can swap and exchange things- would be great, enviromentally friendlier then buying up the shop and money saving- maybe everyone should write to Martin Lewis and suggest it? We could have our own version of fl-EaBay!

Unfortunately, Hartings are a New Zealand company. They do not have any UK outlets.:(
