@Claire - My comments were not directed at you ... but my first post in this thread was a dismissive 'fake' cry, which I did put right.

The people who think every other manufacturer is a fake know who they are.

I think it's fine buying ugg boots that are not decker uggs if you are aware. Today I spoke to a lady who bought 2 pairs from the net for 120. The site advertised that they were genuine ugg Australia but sadly they weren't. I could tell just by looking at the sheepskin but the ugg bit looked real. Inside it was definately not sheepskin.

I total agree with that. A while ago I risked buying a pair of 'geniue' decker uggs on ebay. The seller had good feedback etc but they where fake. All the labelled etc looked genuine but the sheepskin was of poor quality/fake? Luckly I got all my money back. You wouldn't mind a good pair of fakes but if your paying near enough the full price its out of order!

Just wondering if anyone has these and know what the sizing is like, I have searched for them for the last couple of weeks to try on and no shop has them.

Also wondering if anyone has purchased these off ebay as it seems to be the only place that has them at the moe ? They don't appear on any of the fake website which i am hopeing means the ones on ebay are real. At this rate I will be better getting a cheap flight to USA to get them :rotfl:

With regards the points above about being fake etc I am now thankfully more aware of fake sites thanks to this forum. I also think that the majority of people that say fake add on the link to "real" ugg site that has the list of authorised retailers and personally I would love to be a WAG but think I may get flung out due to misrepresentation.
Play nice  Just because I am paranoid doesn't mean they are not out to get me.:j

There is a girl in my office with 'ugg' boots purchased from ugg australia apparently. According to her 'proper uggs'

Well they are nothing like the real ones. Inside doesn't even look real sheep skin. sheep skin should be fluffy not fake looking and hard!

I purchased my long chestnut ones and brown short ones from treds the high street chain.
