While it is rightly unacceptable to some posters to call non decker (and not purporting to be decker) boots fake, it appears to be ok to make statements such as "UA boots made in china are not genuine". Neither of these scenarios is correct, and imo all both do is cause unneccessary confusion and concern to those looking for boots especially in the run up to xmas.
Hi Claire ...
All I have been trying to do is show that both UA and non-UA boots do exist and people do have a choice.
I don't say that UA boots are not genuine, but I understand those that question their heritage and might consider or prefer their boots to come from their homeland.
I don't understand those that blindly call everything fake either without respecting original Australian manufacturers ... and I see that you recognise that too.
I am not trying to create confusion; Iwant clarity, but ifI have personally added consusion, then I apologise, but in fact I have been trying to bring the thread around and give much greater clarity over the marketing of uggs. In fact, I re-hashed rather heavily from post #1 of this thread which sets out the situation well. There was a danger that the thread was becoming Pro-UA, anti any one else in my opinion.0 -

and that email address is a gmail untraceable one. Warning signs are there.0 -
Anyone had any recent experience with uggboots4all.com.au?
My wife was shopping for a pair of Uggs for my daughter and came across this site, but on ordering was having problems (card declined). That made no sense and I instead paid by debit card via PayPal.
The payment has gone through, but a week later and despite 2 messages via their contact form asking for confirmation of order, I have heard nothing.
Personally I am so careful when landing on a new site, but I only got involved at the end here to help my wife make payment and didn't personally make checks. Were I personally to be looking to buy from them now, I probably wouldn't because of lack of real contact details.
Now I see past (older) complaints about this company not responding, but confirming that the boots arrived and were of fantastic quality.
But has anyone had any recent experience .. .were goods shipped? how quickly are they delivered? As this is for a Christmas present, the silence is deafening and we don't know whether we have been ripped off and need to order elsewhere.
Anyone got any other contact details?
.
Well, I have to say that the boots arrived .. no request for import taxes.
I have no complaint about the quality of these non-UA boots, but I cannot recommend that you use this company.
The communications were awful (none) and whilst it appears that I made a slight mistake in my email address when ordering that would have lost the first acknowledgement (evident when talking to PayPal), uggboots4all.com.au failed to reply three times following use of their contact form and mehaving providing the correct email address within it.
Too much anxiety using uggboots4all.com.au for my liking.0 -
For anyone considering buying from:
uggbootshop.com.au
aka
Global Web Shops Australia
BEWARE!!!
I bought a pair of Uggs from them which didn't arrive. I then had an email dialogue with them in which they told me that the boots were delivered to my Post Office as they wouldn't fit through the letterbox (!). This email arrived at about the same time as a letter from HM Customs informing me that the item had been seized as it had not been declared correctly. The $120 commercial package had been declared as a $30 gift. I might add that I was totally unaware that such a declaration had been made.
I contacted the firm again and told them what had really happened to their package. The reply I received referred to customs charges and the fact that "your package was marked as a $30 gift to try and avoid these charges". In other words it is their company policy to evade customs duties by making false declarations. Furthermore, they refused to refund me even knowing that the items had been confiscated due to their actions.
I had paid by Paypal and raised a claim for item not received, which I won and received a refund.
I cannot comment on the quality of the Uggs, as I did not get them!
Be very cautious about dealing with this bunch.

Hi I am quite new to this
I have found a website that sells genuine Deckers UGG boots but it is in USA.
I have searched this forum but can find no mention of it.
The website is called GOUGGS.COM and they are selling the bailey buttons at 125 dollars which is about £77.
They also say its free UK delivery?
The website has live chat and the rep I spoke to said there was no delivery charges etc.
Has anyone bought from here before?
Thanks in advance
