Sorry if this has already been posted but Shudoo have the classic cardy jacaranda (blue) in the sale for £75, which is £60 delivered with the 20% off code. They only have 3.5, 4.5, 5.5 and 6.5 so no use to me but may help someone else.

Thanks just ordered a pair :j

Hello - just when there was a message about buying Uggs in Vegas - my parents are going to Florida this year and have been looking on the website of a department store called Dillards for Uggs for me (I really want a new pair and cannot afford!!) Has anyone been to any stores there for Uggs??
    Thanks a lot

the best thing to do is order from taylors shoes.com and have them delivered where your parents are staying.I had a pair of ugg slippers shipped to my hotel in new york this year and taylors held onto them for 4 weeks before shipping them for when i arrived (Fab service).I have also had ugg boots shipped to my hotel in vegas. That's the cheapest way i have managed to get uggs if you know someone going.I have just emailed davidz.com in new york if they ship to hotels as my friend is off to the US soon and they have some real cheap boots at the moment..
when i went to florida last july it was very hard to find uggs..trust me i looked.Journeys end had a few short ones but very limited..Probably Bloomingdales would be a good choice in florida..i didn't see any in macys

i hope you don't mind me asking but where did you get your sons boots from

I am tempted the Jacaranda cardis too, they are a really nice colour and a total bargain but I'm not sure how much I'd wear them and I did just buy tall navy classics last week.

I really wish had more purple clothes so I had a good excuse to get them!

Just looked at these...I'm in love!!!!:o

Trouble is, I'm a size 7 & although I'm a ugg virgin, from what's been said here, there's no way I'd be able to squeeze into a 6.5.:(

I would definantely go for it if I were you-this colour will go with jeans, black, brown, pink, green, red, white...anything!

If you get them, please do the 'new shoes dance' on my behalf!:)

There are many different sites sell ed hardy clothing at different prices. How to tell the authentic and replicas of ed hardy?

they have lots of Ed Hardy in TK Maxx at the moment-still expensive but genuine.

Just to note- I have a pair of Uggs bought about 5 years ago, they are black. I am pretty sure they are genuine being that they have 1. lasted so long and 2. come from a reputable source which I paid the full wack (minus student discount). They were bought from Topshop Oxford Circus.

The reason I am mentioning them is because they have BLACK lining- not cream (which was mentioned above) I have also been to the Ugg store in Westfield and seen Uggs with lining coloured in colours other then cream. Don't disagree that the TK Maxx ones could well be fake, and thanks for the heads up, but the colour thing- the staff member who told you that was telling porkies- unless the Ugg stores in Westfield and Covent Garden also sell fakes!

Oops, sorry, I see that you wrote the leg lining. I was talking about the footbed, the inside sole. This is always cream. If you check the official site, you can see the picture of the footbed. In the black pair, it is cream.
  • hey pudding, i ordered mine from fabulous kids as i know he wont be that size for long enough to wear the sole out lol. they were £95 in obisidan but you can get them from cloggs with the newer sole for £125 but they are on preorder so not sure how long til delivery. fabulous kids delivered via royal mail next day! hth?

Hey everyone, I usually lurk around the forums looking for deals and rarely post, but I had to post a WARNING for fellow buyers and buyers of Ugg Boots.

Yesterday I visited my local TK MAXX store in Northamptonshire. It was at around 9:30, so when I spotted TWO pairs of Ugg Australia Classic Short boots at £59.99 each, I was amazed and felt quite proud that I had gotten there before anyone else found them. I bought the Chocolate brown pair immediately. I pondered over the other pair for a couple of hours and asked my mother to pick up the other pair for me, a black pair.

When I took them home I was really pleased, I checked the Ugg Australia official site to see how much I had saved only to find the chocolate brown Ugg boots had a chocolate brown sole to match the colour of the boot. My pair had a tan sole. I search around for a long time trying to find out if these were the real deal. I found out alot of ways to tell if your Ugg boots are real and they seemed spot on, apart from the sole.....and the fact there was no sizing or care label tag on the inside. Nevermind I thought, they must have taken it out and that's why they were cheap. I also found that Chocolate brown used to have a tan sole until June/July 2007.

I phoned my mother to ask about the black pair as I hadn't collected them yet. I asked her if they had a tag. Sure enough they had a tag. I asked her if the tag said "made in china". She said "nope, it's ok, they said made in Australia". This sent alarm bells ringing as I was quite sure that Ugg Australia boots were now only made in china, and a tag that says Australia/New Zealand, turned out to be fakes. I was shocked, so I ran over to my mothers house to further inspect the black pair, expecting her to be wrong.

These boots were awful, they were light, cheap, the material was thin, the fur on the inside was bobbly. The sole fur (supposed to be cream in all of the colours regardless of the colour of the fur in the inside leg area) was black. The design on the underside of the sole was all wrong. The toe of the boot was flat to a point, instead of the rounded look. This is the standard look of a fake. The tag on the inside was not woven, but a thin scrunched up printed tag. There was glue all around these shoes, and the sole was rigid when pressed (taking the toe area and the heel in each palm of your hand and pushing together) instead of the flexible rubbery feel of the real deal. The boots, supposedly sheepskin, said 'wool' and had no smell.

The labels on the heels of both boots were wonky, something I hadn't spotted in my haste to buy the first. Upon closer inspection of the brown boots, there were errors in the lining up of the binding (the rim).

I would still say that the brown pair were 100% real if it wasn't for the very bad construction of the black boots (and the fact there was no tag).

All in all I am completely sure that TK MAXX sold me at least one pair of FAKE Ugg Australia Boots. I have since taken them back, and wondered if they had such a low price because they were trying to get rid of them quickly. What struck me as odd was that these shoes didn't have the RRP on the tag like the others I have seen for sale in there at close to full price (£140) did. When I returned the boots today, the lady didn't even question me about why I thought they were fake, or to try and say that thier stock had been bought by a reputable source. In fact she didn't say anything, just gave me my money back.

I will now either completely avoid all designer items, expecially bags and other high priced designer items, as I am not sure how to tell if they are real or not. I only really shop in Tk Maxx for thier homeware.

I know £60 is cheap for Ugg boots, but for these particular boots, it was at least £50 too much.

Sorry for the long post, I just didn't know where else to put this and wanted others to be aware of what can happen, even in a big highstreet chain. If anyone knows who I should contact about this, to make sure that Tk Maxx cannot allow another customer to buy fakes, whether Tk Maxx knows or not, i'd appreciate it very much. Alternatively, if there is a more appropriate place to post this, point me in the right direction :)

I took a pair of Uggs to a reputable dealer ot ask her if a pair of mine were fakes as they had wonky labels. She said that sometimes this does happen. This person is VERY trustworthy but I did think it was odd for a £250 boot (sundance) to have wonky labels.

thanks, JennieWB. If you don't mind , would you be able to check if your black 2005 boots have 100% wool on a thin care label. Also what's the sole like when you press it?

I reckon that if I bought these black boots and then sold them on ebay, I would have one very angry buyer if they ever checked the ways to tell if they are fake. I would have no proof if they were indeed from that period of time, and in the state they are in are totally not worth the price of £60.

I can't imagine Ugg Australia 'seconds' to make it all the way over here, and still be around brand new after all this time, but it could well be the case with the brown pair. The black, with the glue everywhere, the loose threads, the shiney cheap slipper foam looking sole - not so much.

Forgot to add, the 'sun' on the sole looked like a crude copy. Also the part of the sole where the flat part meets the embossed design was a straight line, which as far as i've researched indicates a fake.

Right now they are parceled up until december/cold weather so I can't read the label atm, but can say they felt fine in March- flexiblity was fine, faded, but thats because they were out in the rain so often!

Do not remember the label being thin- its a double sided one with the sizes stitched on, its not thin at all, good quality.
  • Interesting NotLongNow, I did think that the label was the least important point about these boots. I would still say that the brown pair were pretty much genuine and probably a second because the rim wasn't straight around and was sewn into a point. (think the McDonalds yelllow arch logo, the top middle part of the 'm' this is what it looked like) Thanks for the information!

JennieWB, thankyou for the reply. The label in the black pair was a printed thin plastic tag, like a normal care wash label you'd find in clothes. Your tag was woven, the quality much better, this is what I expected when I went to check them.

I really am convinced about the black pair being counterfeit, seriously, if I was just a little iffy about them, I wouldn't have posted.

Just be careful out there fellow UGG lovers!
