Ugg Boots from £62 delivered

I spent a good 3 hours reading through posts after, i'm in the process of trying to cancel the purchase, and have contacted the credit card company as back up. I can deal with a 10% cancellation fee, £6 is nothing when i could be taxed up to £40, and then have to send them back and try and get a refund, or not even get any boots at all. I'm just hoping they accept the cancellation or else it could all get messy and expensive.
Fingers crossed the cancellation will go through, they emailed back trying to convince me the boots were genuine etc so i've sent another one requesting cancellation. I think i'll bite the bullet and get them from schuh using student card, reading people's experiences, i'd rather have a pair that last 5 years, than pay 60 quid for a pair that fall apart after 3 weeks.
I feel like an abso lute muppet falling for it.
everyone has fallen for it at one point or another so dont beat yourself up about it too much;), fingers crossed you will get your money back and be able to buy a genuine pair -this thread was my godsend when I was looking to buy mine as I hadnt a clue what was real or what was fake.
my husband bought me my first pair from M&M direct last november and I loved them that much I became obsessed by buying them in every colour and length, bought a pair off ebay and have never seen such shod in my life but like everyone always says ' if it seems too good to be true it usually is'. Get the real deal and you will never look back - I now have four pairs and yet my first chestnut pair are the pair that I wear on a daily basis, every day!!! money well spent!0 -
So do any Ugg experts here know if the sole has definately changed as the ones in Schuh are different to my friends. My other issue is that schuh only has my size that have been out on display. I've asked before if I could have a discount and have been refused. Dont want to pay full price when one of the shoes has been pulled around!
Yes I think the sole has changed as my new uggs have different soles to my old ones. If schuh only have an ex display pair in your size, why don't you order them online instead? I'm sure there is a code for 20% off shudoo about somewhere so you could save money aswell.0 -

Am not an Ugg expert (just regurgitate what I see elsewhere!) but would imagine that old stock from previous years may still be being sold by genuine retailers so don't be too worried if you get a good price but a different looking sole- it could be a good price just because they are clearing out old stock.
With any shoes- they normally get them both to the till point where they hold them up together to check size and etc- take a good look at them there- they will only ever put one side on display so you can get a fair picture of how (or if) they have been pulled around- if they have they will look obviously different. But don't be too concerned about a display shoe unless you can see or feel any different- the turn over for most shoes is high so the display model can change sometimes daily or more in busy stores. If they have only the display model in and normally never sell the display model but are offering it to you, you could always wait for new stock to come in- maybe give them your contact details when they do? or get an estimated "try next time" date. But if they only ever sell the display pair and simply renew it with a new pair each time (so as to keep the display model as sellable as they can/avoid a bad display) I'd go with it- as I said, its likely the model would change frequently. But always check for marks/stains/differences at the till.0 -

I asked if they would tick the gift box so I wouldn't get charged customs, they replied and said they send them as samples so customs don't charge us and they ship for FREE, sounds a bit too good to be true? Anyone dealt with them please!
I bought a pair ugg bailey button boots from ecwarmboots.com .It's great!0 -
found some uggs on ebay for £85 buy it now, think this is probably too good to be true, fairly new seller, and has various different sizes and colours, pics of each different pair with box and certificate and a couple of positive feedbacks from people who've bought them, but guess it really is too good to be true?
found some just sheepskin boots today in faith for £60 but not my size, i really like the look of them (compared to the kids emu's i saw in tkmaxx) does anyone have any just sheepskin?0 -
yes the sole has changed , check out ugg australia website and some of there pics of there boots do have the new sole , i did read some where on ebay that they have changed it to combat the counterfiets , altho it wont take long for the scammers to copy , it amazes me that so many ppl still bid quite big money on these fakes on ebay as alot of the time you can tell there fakes just by looking at the pics0

I have a pair of Just Sheepskin boots & I think they're great. Was concerned I wouldn't get them over my fat ankles (!) but they're fine. I think the style is Trafalger-they're short ones. My brother worked in USC and he bought them for me when the shop closed down. He'll be getting a good christmas pressie this year!:TCross Stitch Cafe Monthly Challenge Member #27
