hi everyone ! i've been following this thread for a few weeks now in the hope of getting my hands on some ugg australia boots, having failed miserably, i ordered some just sheepskin classic short boots in the end , well i must say they're great, the fit is the same as ugg australia, i usually wear a 6 but a 5 fits fine, i'd recommend them !0

First time poster, so sorry to start with a rant but wanted to warn others of the charlatan outfit that is uggbootshop.com.au.
First off, I ordered at the beginning of December and was guaranteed delivery (was Xmas present)...
Then no news...
Made apologies to present recipient...
Checked and boots were 'lost in transit'...
New boots to be sent out...
More apologies to present recipient...
No new boots after 4 weeks...
Told that second set 'lost in transit'...
Email to supplier to say stick your boots (both of them) up your ar5e and give me my money back...
No response surprisingly...
Consumed more humble pie served up by present recipient...
Still no response from supplier...
Debit Card Co. contacted, so hopefully money returned...
Do not deal with these shysters. I repeat, save your money. The contact has been p*** poor, in fact non-existent, and i'm sure i'll not see my money again.

Just to confirm. the word 'ugg' cant be used by companies selling deckers ugg australia boots. Companies based in Australia can use 'ugg' in their url , as the word itself hasn't been trademarked. They have argued that ugg is a generic term, so no law against them using the word. Its just the way it is written with the larger middle G.

mandm are pretty quick with refunds, u have to pay the return postage but they sort your refund out in a few days .0

I have the same problem as Graemewh, order boots at my daughter's insistance from uggstore.com.au. Did not realsise that "ugg" can be used by anybody in Australia. $55 Australian dollars shipping cost and £19.25 uk duty costs. Now I need to send them back as she will not wear "fakes" , going to lose the 15% restocking cost. Would have been cheaper to pay full price in uk if I had known all this.
The web reply to my return e.mail said they are "very busy" and will get back to me. Wonder how much the freight charge will be to return!!0 -
I have bought a pair of cardi 'uggs' form china, the website is called www.shoppingugg.com.
I was furious when I opened them... (in all fairness it was actually too good to be true) it was blatantly obvious they were fake!
They had been stopped at cutoms, so I rang them to ask what was going on. She said if they were counterfeit then they wouldnt be sent to me but returned. I recieved them and had no duty VAT or nothing on them. I am sending them back and want my money back!!!!!
I AM NEW TO THIS
THANKS FOR YOUR MESSAGE, I WAS GOING TO BUY FROM THIS WEBSITE BUT WAS WARY WHEN I COULD ONLY PAY BY PAYPAL.
HOW WERE THEY FAKES IF YOU DON'T MIND ME ASKING.
HAS ANYONE ELSE BOUGHT FROM
SHOPPINGUGG.COM
IF SO PLEASE LEAVE US ALL A MESSAGE
THANKS0 -
tracyb1967 - the only site that can use the word ugg in their URL is the offical Ugg Australia site, therefore any other site using it will be selling fakes. This has been confirmed by a few posters on this thread in an email by Ugg Australia.
Also - the main thing to keep in mind is IF IT SEEMS TO GOOD TO BE TRUE THEN IT IS.
It has been posted recently that the fake sites are begining to catch on and are increasing the price of their fake boots so that buyers aren't as suspicious, so be sure to keep in mind that the URL can't contain the word ugg and check the domain on whois and if it belongs to a Mr Chen they will be selling fakes, guarenteed!

Good Evening Ladies,
I just wanted to share my amazing Ugg finds. I've just come back from a hol in Boston, and found the best Ugg shopThey had all kinds of Uggs that you can imagine - some which I have never seen before. Anyway, I got some classic short leopard print ones for $75 (about £50
), and 2 pairs of Ugg slippers for $50 dollars a pair. I checked with the guys in the store, and they said that they can ship international, but obv there may be customs charges etc attached. If anyone's interested the site is:
http://www.thetannery.com/Search.aspx?g=3&bid=107&mode=brand
Now, my leopard print boots are still showing as full price on the website (they and the slippers had 50% off in store). Also, I saw the leopard print ones in Choice in Bluewater today and they were selling at £150
I am one happy Ugg lady today0
