Sorry if I am missing something already stated but have you guys with things from Bloomin Direct been to trading standards/the Police? its illegal to sell fake goods in or to the UK, and they need to be brought down!

The point to all of this is that Ugg is a Generic term, lots of boots are Ugg Boots but there is a brand called Ugg Australia and these are the ones that cost the money - they can say they are Australian Uggs and this is why people get confused. This is how people get ripped off because of the confusion and this is how people arte able to get away with selling fakes. If the buyer has bought Ugg boots and they have Ugg style boots then they have not been defrauded. The cheap £5 boots you find on the market, they are Ugg boots so can be sold as such.

There are a lot of scammers out there and this is why this thread exists.

If you have paid by Paypal then get a 'dipsute' going now and get your money back.

I've tried to look for the link but cannot find anything on that site.

It has been said before IF IT IS TOO GOOD TO BE TRUE THEN IT PROBABLY IS. The only way to get these boots cheaper is buy using a discount code. If you find these being sold at less than the RRP then they are fakes - I've only seen them being sold cheap in one place and that is ASOS but that was season colours on special offer, not the classics. However, you can get them cheaper by using a discount code or by, possibly, shopping overseas (depending on the rate!).
  • Bloomin direct said they were UGGS australia and even had the correct logos displayed on the website.

I'm sure most of us know the difference by now
  • has anyone seen this site b4 ? it seems too good to be true and they have hundreds of pairs of uggs for sale at really cheap prices

Well i'm going to send mine back (with proof of posting of course) i have already opened a complaint thing with paypal as they took a long time to arrive, i'm going to keep it open untill they refund.

Things payed with paypal come off my credit card so hopefully i am covered in some way even if paypal don't autimatically refund.

If the boots were purchased directly from the sellers website and not from ebay,Unless I am interpretting the user agreement incorrectly, paypal do not appear to cover items for SNAD only for INR

Luckily for me they sent tall boots instead of the short I ordered........so what was sent was significantly different.

Good for you- they are worth that- I can vouch for it! I own a black pair of shorts, they are now 5 years old. When it gets freezing cold, I wear them day in, day out. I have only had to clean then once per year before I get them out to wear them. They have also been rained on countless times/feet soaked through...

As long as you look after them: clean them, brush them, leave them to dry in a well ventilated warm- not hot, room, replace the insoles when they wear thin, they could also be fine for years. Oh, and I wear socks with mine most of the time.

Thats if you don't have £140 to splash on new pairs every year!

Doubt they will be reduced this side of spring anyway!

The best thing you can do is contact your Card issuer and ask when you can start a chargeback, if Paypal go in your favour then a refund would only be paid if they have funds in their account which is unlikely, the scam sites usually change their Paypal accounts to various emails so Paypal cannot keep track of them or their funds.
