OMG! That's awful for any boots you've bought, let alone ones that are supposed to be good quality! What's up with their quality control??

At least they're not being funny about a refund, I suppose that's something!

If mine are like that, they're going back too - pronto!

I think it's a bit of a shame that everyone thinks I might be pulling a fast one with the boots from Xile

Basically I work in central london and the chances of me getting a pair here are slim to none. I am also a smart shopper when it comes to buying online (being 25 I am part of the online shopping generation and only ever do my grocery shopping on tesco.com!)

I used this thread so much when trying to find some genuine boots that were in stock from a reputable retailer (as there are lots of "non-Ugg" websites on this thread like Emu etc) like many other people do I am sure.

I thought that people would find it helpful that I recommended Xile when my order was delivered next day and that the boots were only sold at RRP also, therefore they're not ripoff merchants like Shudoo for example (don't they sell theirs at £130?!).

If you don't trust my recommendation that's fine but I just thought I would be helpful to others as I found much of my advice from this site- it's nice to give something back.

Also, with regards to the people picking up the phone in the Xile shop- how on earth are they meant to know who "deckers" are though, lol, 17 year old shop assistants?!!! like someone else mentioned, there is no mention of "deckers" on a pair of Ugg Australia boots.

anyway i am out, off to the South of France in my gorgeous Cardy's- sleet is expected over the next few days I'll be careful not to get them wet!!

The ones I received yesterday from West-way that I ordered with the 25% discount code are fine. No damage whatsoever and the quality seems very good. I have worn them today for the first time and am very happy with them.

I hope those of you that are waiting get your orders soon and that they are good quality ones.

the ones i have are identical to the ones my friend ordered from amazon a while ago except hers cost more

CaitlinsMum - Your Emus, did they come wrapped in emu tissue paper and with a key-ring thing tied to the shoe (with a fluffy piece of sheepskin with Emu embossed on it)? Mine from Amazon had this and I thought it was a great idea- maybe fakes don't have this?

Personally I can't see that West Way are selling fakes- more likely Caitlinsmum got one from a bad batch. What a shame really- i love my Emus and considering that they aren't cheap, you would expect better quality control.

Well mine have arrived and I think they're ok but they are very big on the feet and a bit tight on the calf (I must be a funny shape!) so I think they're going back.

hi all,
with regards to my previous post i was'nt implying my uggs from shudoo are fakes, i was just commenting on the disappointment i felt. maybe i have waited too long for a pair of the deckers (since last yr) and now i have them its all a bit of an anti climax. i just expected them thicker and softer and more expensive looking !
i certainly don't wish to worry or give palpatations to anyone who has purchased from shudoo, i have spoken to shudoo and i will return them and maybe get a different colour...i was thinking the sand ones,then i will be crying cos they will soon get dirty lol!
my dear hubby thinks i should quit with the uggs, get a refund and get him a nintendo wii console.....i think not !!!!!!! :rotfl:

Hey Phunkles don't feel bad. It's not the website .
It's the boots I'm not happy with. Perhaps they are just a pair that slipped through the quality control tests.
I am going to get some more boots but I'm going to purchase some genuine Aussie Made boots.
I'm going to spend a couple of days doing some research before I decide where they are coming from,I'm not willing to pay Deckers prices so will look for an Aussie company..
