I received the pair of EMU Hip Tie Merino Wool & Suede Boots that I ordered from Westway today. Great service, ordered them Monday afternoon and they arrived this morning. Very happy with them

The Westway website is now saying that Emus will be despatched on December 1st.

I hope I get mine (that I ordered on Monday) tomorrow!

Stick to the genuine retailers,this is the time of year for getting ripped off.

Its amazing how many people come here to tell us about the fab site they got their new boots from, that were great and genuine and compared to the real thing they are certain they are real! Cos the first thing you do when you get your new uggs is a find a website like this and tell everybody about the site they came from....well it is isnt it? :rotfl:

just thought i would let you know that i have just found a message on my ansamachine from west-way apologising for the 1 pair of boots being out of stock until monday.Feel a bit happier now....they have offered to send my 1 pair out without waiting for the other.

Hi all.

First time poster, I've found this whole Ugg thread to be so very interesting and informative, so thanks for your wonderful insight and feedback on all things Ugg.

I will say though I'm torn between Emu's and Ugg's. On one hand I cannot afford the cosey looking but pricey Ugg's on the other hand the Emu's do look lovely but some of the websites I've found good deals for them on look questionable.

I live not far from spital and you cant imagine how many fake pairs of uggs boots that are about at the moment. Every pub i go in seems to have someone popping in selling them. My partner wanted a pair and i nearly got them but decided to buy them from cosco. There must be a factory close by and im guessing its in north wales.

Does seem a bit odd that they do not know who Deckers are when they are selling the Deckers Uggs. Although if you look at the Uggs or the packaging there is no mention of Deckers just Ugg Australia.
Maybe the person that answered the phone did not know that Deckers made Uggs. It could just be as innocent as that.
You order from where you feel happiest. You have done your research & are happy with the decision you made.

Your DIL will have no idea that her Xmas pressy was the cause of much discussion!
I hope she likes them!

The email response was the same as the phone one. No idea who Deckers are. Of course they could have had a kid on work experience manning the phone and email (and I'm probably being a bit TOO cautious) but DIL is cooking Christmas dinner for us all this year and I don't fancy having the wild sh*tes for a week afterwards!!! Not that I'm saying she'd poison me if I gave her fake Uggs, but you get the idea!!!!

My daughter's Uggs from Shudoo took 3 days to arrive so hope DIL's arrive in a similar timeframe, so I can chill out a bit and concentrate on everyone else's pressies. I just hate the last minute panic thing about Christmas and want to avoid all that at all costs!

nah sorry this site looks fake to me! the prices are way to cheap, if it looks too good to be true...it usually is!
whyon earth would a buisness sell Ugg boots that cheap...coz they are fakes they make for a tenner a pair!
