@ those who ordered with the 30% off shudoo yesterday, should we expect our orders today?I ordered before 10am. Hoping they come today but with all the cufuffle with shudoo yesterday, i'm worried they won't0

I've now bought 4 pairs of Canterbury boots and there really is no comparison. The quality is far superior to Deckers. I feel quite smug when I see people in the lesser quality Deckers boots that cost 3 times the price.
If you're looking for black ones, this site sells them www.nznature.co.nz . Have bought off them twice and the service is great, they even have a free phone number to ring if you have any queries.I received my chestnut short Ugg boots on Monday from ww.hartings.co.nz and have to say I am so impressed. Not only did they cost me £55 inc delivery which took less than a week, but have just compared them to the "Just Sheepskin" one's in Debenhams and would say that mine are a far better quality.
The question of "genuine" and "fake" UGG's is answered if you read through the thread. "What came first the Ugg boot or Deckers?" Australia were making Ugg boots long before Deckers bought the name, then moved the production to China???
I was willing to sacrifice the 'label' but didn't want to sacrifice on quality, it doesn't mean I have bought 'fakes'. By the way thanks to those who recommended Hartings, just wished they sold the black one's or I'd be ordering again.
This is what the hartings website state:-Canterbury Leather International is the premier New Zealand manufacturer of sheepskin footwear and apparel. A leading exporter, the company is the recipient of a number of government awards and has for many years been a preferred manufacturer for Deckers Outdoor Corporation - owners of the UGG® Australia brand.0 -

Thanks for that link for nznature, they have some nice kids boots, have added them to my faves for a future maybe.0 -

Thanks.
Also, I email below to asos customer care:
Could I request that when you do get more UGG Australia Tall Classics in black size UK5, in stock (2 pairs required for christmas presents) that you could extend me the courtesey of the 20% off, you informed me that you were out of stock after I ordered them at £136 per pair. And the 20% discount ends this Friday, which I think is unfair as they were openly advertised on your website at this price as available.
This is the only colour I want as black goes with everything and I dont want to order a different colour if you do have others in stock.
Awaiting your reply,
Kind Regards,
hi there Little Otter, yes Shudoo is just like Office, Asos, Dolcis etc, they are 100% 'real' deckers Uggs, my 1st pair off Uggs this year were from Asos, i wanted grey this time though & Asos didnt have the 20% off the grey ones so i purchased my greys from Shudoo on mon eve.
have just looked for you & Shuddo have long blacks in stock in most sizes, use the 20% off code from here & you'll get them for £136 & free delivery, Asos is £4.95 delivery.
get buying those uggs!!!!!mummy to 3 monsters!
trying to money save, but spot too many bargains on here!!0 -
L.O, hope you get good results and if you don't, try Shudoo as others seem to think it's ok. I've never heard of this site before so don't know how good their customer service etc is; I've always loved ASOS.
However, I find it rather hard to believe that they suddenly had none in stock yesterday for a few hours but now have a whole lot in and are able to tell you that this time of the morning? I used to work in retail and deliveries of the sort of size I can imagine and understand the ASOS office getting would probably not have arrived AND been sorted by this time f the morning; staff get a checklist and have to manually account for every item which arrives. They probably get thousands. I think maybe they're being a bit dishonest with you. I'm sorry but I don't believe them (I believe you).
At the end of the day, it's not YOUR problem they made a mistake (I can't believe blacks were in the offer as they're really popular), and they should honour it in the name of goodwill and good customer relations. Consider taking it a bit further; perhaps ring/email Trading Standards and see what their take is on it? It's not even the money, although you'd probably not have paid £170 so it is partly that, but it's the principle. ASOS need to stick to their promises; in your case they promised to deliver 2 pairs of the boots you chose and seem to be CHOOSING not to honour the CONTRACT you entered into upon ordering (ask Citizens Advice and/or Trading Standards about breach of contract).0 -

get buying those uggs!!!!!
They are cheeky, They put the more popular, grey and black ones on at the discount price by mistake then tried to fob me off saying they were out of stock, then to re advertise them in stock at the full price!!! Let see what they reply with re the free delivery...
I think I will use shudoo next time then, if all of you lot are happy with them they must be good. xTrainee Wakeboarder, Fashion and celebrity devotee!0 -

They have let me re order at full price £170 each, I have just had an email to confirm they are going to refund my account with £68 difference in price, and the delivery charge for my inconvinience (which I said they should do)
Yes, very 'strange' that they had none last night avail and now have them avail in my size at full price. Its got to be coz they thought I would just think 'oh well' and leave it, they didnt want to sell me the popular blacks at the mistaken discounted price.... I knew I smelt a rat!
Well its all sorted now, I have ordered my Uggs, will get the aditional monies refunded (although they said this take 5-10 working days which is a bit poo as now I have to wait for them to refund me £343.95!)Trainee Wakeboarder, Fashion and celebrity devotee!0 -
I finally got my order placed on Shudoo, over the phone, about 2 hours ago., and got the 30% discount. I was told I'd receive a confirmation email in about 10 minutes' time, but it's not shown up yet.
Has this been the case for everyone else? I'm pretty sure all is well and that the boots will arrive tomorrow, but I just want to know for sure.
It's been a stressful experience but I'm chuffed to have another pair of Uggs coming my way. With the exchange rate between the pound and dollar dropping so much, I probably got them for around US prices.0 -
The 1st site is owned by a person in China, they are cheaper as they are fakes even the boots in the pics are a giveaway the toes are way to slanted. And it allows me to put 65 pairs of one size into my basket nowhere has that kind of stock on genuine boots....
The 2nd site looks ok for anyone who is happy with an alternate brand.
yeah i agree first site was a little 'special', just trying to help! In my experience there is no such thing as a 'cheap' pair of uggs. Only way is to go a reputable retailer like ASOS, schuh, USC etc or fly to America....:rotfl:
My cousin lives in Australia and she recommened the second site so i have no hesitation shopping on there for the 'Aus' Uggs i.e not Deckers.
Good luck to you all on your Ugg Hunt!
p.s How cool are the cardy ones!Spreading the gospel that is Martin Lewis to the future generation....I'm a Home Economics Teacher and being thrifty is the way!:A0 -

Happy ugging everyone xx:rotfl:0
