Hi could anyone advise me again please. I bought some UGGs last year (UK size 9 as I have large feet) but they are quite big, I would like some more so thought I may be better with a UK size 8. I have been to Schuh today to try the 8 on but they were a little tight around the toe. I know they will give after a little bit of wearing them but I am worried incase my toe pokes through! Has anyone else had this problem and if so what do you think would be the best size to get? Thanks

I'm a uk7 and where a 6 ugg. They're tight around the toe to start with but soon loosen up. I wore mine solid for a year without socks and a toe is yet to poke through. hth

Is there much difference in quality ? Is the suede a bad thing over the sheepskin ?

As well as Chameleon pointing out they are more hard wearing I would imagine that if they were sheepskin having a heel may push the weight forward and the toes would make them go out of shape as it gives so much, they wouldnt support the foot well either as a high heel boot. Maybe that might be the reason they are suede.

I have to agree I also think that is a lot of money for a suede boot but then I think they might be a hard style to find an alternative as they have the grip rubber sole and most wedges I ever see have a standard sole, they are probably really comfy too, so I can understand if she has her heart set on them and as you say...you cant change her mind ;)

Just read more about them, they do have a sheepskin lining inside, so it does have that protection for wet weather. So not all bad :)

    Hi Mookie

Cozyboots are the same price of $275 and will ship here. Nordstrom do too, you just have to ring them, I got stuff from them last year.

I'm just worried that at $275 plus delivery and then plus customs charge, I'm not sure how much better off from the £240 I will be. ?

Hi Cage, thanks for the info about nordstrom shipping here. I'm getting uggs from shudoo this year but there are other things on the website that i have my eye on. If you don't mind me asking what did they quote you for shipping?

Not sure if its any help but Neiman Marcus ship to the Uk too I noticed they have quite a selection of Uggs on their website, not sure on their prices though. And again you have to call for shipping to the Uk.

Thanks mookie, thats really helpful. I'm after some juicy couture stuff :D When ordering from the US what amount can you expect to pay in customs etc when they arrive(order value around £150)? I'm sure i've seen this info posted on here before but can't seem to find the post.

    Dont mind at all.

I spent at the time $472 and $60 was shipping, that was with DHL and arrived in 4-5 days.

I got a customs charge too and it was quite painful on that amount, so these guys are not customs friendly.

Found them at Eilatan, these guys have their own shop's in LA and Irvine, California.

Shipping is $55 but there's an option of using a company called Bongo who give you a US address and ship at a fraction of the price.
