hi all
this may sound weird but just received my uggs from asos and am not impressed. Comparing them to the uggs I already have the suede isnt as soft, nor is the sheepskin, the boots and sole are more 'rigid' and they smell strongly of dye. I thought these were signs of a fake but surely not with ASOS??
They are black rather than my usual sand so that may explain the dye smell? Is this usual? Has anyone else bought from asos?

They are new with a few wears the sole will soften as will the sheepskin.;) I'm not sure the dye smell you mention is what people mean with the fakes, the fakes tend to have a chemical smell from what people posted here last year. HTH0 -

Hi could anyone advise me again please. I bought some UGGs last year (UK size 9 as I have large feet) but they are quite big, I would like some more so thought I may be better with a UK size 8. I have been to Schuh today to try the 8 on but they were a little tight around the toe. I know they will give after a little bit of wearing them but I am worried incase my toe pokes through! Has anyone else had this problem and if so what do you think would be the best size to get? Thanks
Its hard to answer your question but here goes...my boots are 'snug' on the toe area, i found the grey came up bigger (I wonder if the dyeing process alters the sheepskin with the some colours) but my chestnut ones are snug and my toe has left a little dent inside in the wool, I have never had a toe poke through and i wear them loads, but some members here have had that problem. I wear socks though which might mean they dont have a nail directly against them.
When you try them can you actually see your toe from outside? My hubby hasnt hid my xmas ones well and i just checked, my toe does show but the wool inside will flatten all round making a bit more space after a couple of wears meaning they will give 'all round' as the whole foot moulds the the wool does that make sense? If you wear thin socks i think you'll be ok. Sorry if this is not the most helpful answer :rolleyes:0 -
Hi I am a newbie,
I recently got a pair of UGG boots in Florida, I've only worn them 3 or 4 times and I now have a rip on one of the back of the boots.
I'm not sure if I can send them to anywhere as I don't have a receipt or the box.
Wld appreciate any help.
Thx
Is the rip on a seam or just random? If its on the seam then you may be able to get it stitched by a shoe repairs.
Ugg do cover their boots for a year under a warranty see this link about half way down for info http://www.uggaustralia.com/gb/experience/aboutIntl.aspx?g=about&pagename=warranty
But...if the rip is random and not on a seam I think they might claim its 'contact' damage which is what shoe manufacturers claim when they feel the item has been caught on something sharp you would also need to contact them before sending to see what they can do without proof of purchase. HTH0 -

I've just checked a shudoo email I was sent last week and it says that the discount code for the 'happy day' will be 20%. Just wanted to pre-warn people in case everyone will receive 20% instead of 30% unless it's customer specific?0
