  • hello, why does everyone go ga-ga over the deckers made ugg boots, i have a pair of jumbo uggs and they are far better quality !
i also have a pair of celtic sheepskins and they too are decent quality, i guess some people are'nt happy unless they are wearing the "latest label" but its no use moaning when you get ripped off is it?

What a ridiculous statement. So you are suggesting that people who buy genuine Ugg Australia boots deserve to be ripped off because they buy the brand?

hi, i think your comment sounds rather harsh !! i am not a fashion or label folower and i buy what i like whether it be primark or the "latest label". i liked the deckers ugg boots but was nearly ripped off like so many on this site by aussie direct. after numerous e-mails and threats to them i received a full refund plus postage costs but it makes you wary of buying again.
i still intend to purchase a pair of the deckers uggs but surley that does'nt mean i deserve to be ripped off again just because i like those particular boots???
by the way i also have a pair of the jumbo uggs and yes they are decent quality and i like them very much but it is personal choice .....live and let live i say!

gawd some folk are SO sensitive! i did'nt mean folk deserved to be ripped off for buying the deckers uggs, i meant when you read all the hassle folk on here have had then why bother and why keep lining deckers pockets cos even the genuine uggs have had their probs and deckers dont seem to care, plus they are very expensive for their inferior quality!!

p.s what is wrong with primark? plenty of folk shop there!

Serenitysue, while there are bound to be some people who only buy a product for 'trend value', it is also true that people buy a branded product because of reputation of quality.

I am not bothered by labels. So I bought some real sheepskin boots from snugaustralia. At £70 they were cheaper than Deckers' Uggs, but are so badly made that they are unwearable. So rather than risk wasting more money, I bought the tried and tested Deckers.

They are bloody fantastic!!! Worth every penny, and still look brilliant after 6 months of heavy wear, and no heel sag!

Having read the whole thread in the last day and a half <phew> I gave in and ordered some Ultimate Cuffs in chocolate from www.uggsdirect.co.uk and I can NOT wait to get them :D And even though they haven't even arrived I'm already drooling over the cardys and really [strike]want[/strike] need some black ones...... this could turn into a rather expensive hobby :o

Thanks to whoever said a few pages back about Bank in Coventry having them..... I'm in Coventry and am going into town on Monday so will have a look in there :)

I'm not sure where you get the impression that Decker's Uggs are in any way superior or better made than other genuine sheepskin Ugg boots  as I've found the reverse to be quite true!

Out of the 3 pairs of boots I have here the Deckers boots have faired the worst. The Canterbury's still look like new and have been worn an equal amount of time to the Decker's Uggs, but by far the most superior quality of all are a short pair of boots I bought from Kiwi Sheepskins for just £26 :T

These have been worn day in day out for over 6mths now, both indoors and outdoors, and I've even done the decorating and gardening in them as they're just too comfy to take off ;):D

They're still in fantastic shape, although looking a little grubby around the toe area since being in the garden with them, but they are sand colour after all ;) but no signs of wear or tear yet and still as comfortable as the first day I got them :T

hi, i was wondering if you could let me know if you think the kiwi sheepskin boots are a wide fit. i have been thinking about getting a pair for a while but i notice they say they are in unisex sizes and i have a pair of unisex canterbury supertreads and they are enormously wide on me. i do admit i have skinny ankles and calves so i dont wish to look like a sparrow in pitboots lol :D are your kiwis the classic or the supertreads please? i'm wanting the normal short classics.....hope you dont mind letting me know, thanks

My bee-yoo-ti-ful Ultimate Cuffs arrived today and I am delighted with them, they're gorgeous and most definitely, completely 100% authentic :D

Top marks to www.uggsdirect.co.uk I ordered them on Friday and had the cheapest delivery option (£1.95 3-5 days).

I love them so much! :happyhear Can't wait to wear them tomorrow. Am now going to lovingly spray them with protector..... H said for that price they should sprout little umbrellas when it rains :rotfl:

Am now seriously coveting the black or grey cardys but they're out of stock at the moment. Possibly a good thing though........
