As this is such a long thread, excuse me if already posted. Was in Costco- Edmonton today and they had the original UGGAUSTRALIA for £118.99 plus VAT. Superb quality...0

I have nothing against buying an alternative label but I have tried alternative brands and most of them collapse on the heel.....not a nice look.
Firstly jumbo uggs in chocolate on the webby have black soles....mmmm?!
Secondly the chestnut ones have white stitching in the pics.....
Thirdly I paid almost half of that for my uGg australia boots.
And finally after wearing this brand for over 3 years I dont consider myself as a fashion victim as far as the label is concerned.
I also wonder why you are even wearing uggs if fashion is not an important factor wouldnt a pair of wellies be suffice.0 -
Ugg's made by Deckers last longer that why I buy them, as someone else said other collpase at the heal and don't last as long. I've had a pair of Uggs from Deckers for about 3 years now and they still look brand new.0

I've just found an alternative source of UGG's at what look to be very reasonable prices :j

I'm really confused as I ordered from AD after seeing the website recommended here (obviously before all this erupted!) but am unsure whether they are authentic? I bought the classic short chocolate ones and everything i.e. soles/stitching/label type/label being half-way down/made in china/quality of care card etc. are as per an authentic pair along with cream sheepskin bottom lining. The only thing is the smell of 'marzipan' which is why I doubt whether they are authentic. They run slighty large and seems genuine sheepskin but is this the smell of a fake? Do the chocolate ones have a dye of some sort when they are authentic?0

It sounds like all the key indicators are there so you are fine. All the boots smell a bit at first so don't worry about it.;)0 -
Whoo hoo - my boots from Cozyboots (thanks Mookie, had a lucky escape on REi it seems!!) are at Stansted!!! Have the dreaded Fed Ex delivering them so wonders whether I'll get a charge but they are kids size so no VAT!! I only ordered them on Monday so not bad at all, if I get them by the weekend then I'll be a happy bunny!! Happy Xmas to me (if slightly early of course but why stick a good present on the loft when you know what you are getting)0

I bought two pairs of Uggs from AD, the chocolate tall ones and the upside, I've just checked both of mine against the photo comparison fake spotting sites, and the ones in schuh and office and I'm confident they're genuine, they tick all the boxes. I wouldn't order from AD again though from what everyone else has said! I was going to get the black ones, so glad I went for the brown!
