Does anyone know if the long ones can be worn with jeans or do the short ones look better. I want to order before the end of the month to take advantage of the tax offer, but can't decide which to go for.

hello...umm i would say that both long and short uggs can be worn with jeans..and both look good with the jeans tucked in and not tucked in too.

Personally, im going for the long ones because they give you 2 looks: you can roll them over and you can also wear them just like normal boots. i know you can roll the short uggs over too, at the top..but i think they are too short to roll over and the long ones look better to wear like that.

I am planning on ordering the short chestnut uggs from aussie direct tomorrow so will hopefully be just in time for the tax reduction! woop! thank you all to your posts, just needed to be 100% they were genuine before I ordered. Am going shopping tomorrow morning so am going to try them on to make sure I get the right size! For postage am thinking of getting them with the box, as it makes hardly any difference, and would quite like to have it! But am unsure whether to go via airmail or UPS express delivery.. what are your thoughts? what time would either to take? xx

I ordered the short sand UGG Australia ones from aussie direct size US6 on wednesday night, they e mailed me on Thursday night to say that a UK5 would be a US7 so I asked them to change the order. Today I have had an e mail with the tracking number for Fedex ( airmail option )...... they are on their way :j my DD is praying that they are too big for me

I purchased a pair of Uggs classic short W7 chestnut from Office in FEB 07 and they cost £129.99 .. I love them so much!!! I wanted a long pair of Chocolate UGGS but did not to pay the going rate of £170. I was also sceptical about buying on line due to Fakes. I went on to Ebay and read the guide to spotting fakes. After reading the threads, I did some investigating.Firstly I emailed the head office of UGG Australia to find out if AustraliaDirect were selling authentic UGGS. I got this reply:

I then made a phone call to AustraliaDirect asked a few questions and decided to go ahead and purchase a pair. The lady I spoke to did say that she was trying to pursuade her boss to extend the offer of "Duty and Tax paid" however they would advertise it on their website if he agreed to extend it for another month. I ordered them in the early hours of Thursday morning. I then got an email informing me that UPS were going to deliver them. I also got a tracking no. My parcel is currently in Dubai and should be delivered on Monday 1st Oct. Total Credit Card amount £89.00 including p&p. I will keep you all posted once they arrive.!!! I'm so excited...

I ordered a pair of tall chocolate uggs from aussiedirect about 2 weeks ago, and i can say that they are definitely 100% genuine!
So much so, that i just ordered a pair of tall black ones whilst they pay for customs!

I would personally prefer to have the box included. There really is not much difference in price for fedex-airmail and ups-courier. I would go for fedex next time as for peace of mind I wanted to track it. I am wondering whether I should order another pair now whilst there is no duty to pay. Or wait until 1/10 when mine are due to arrive. I think I might order tomorrow.
