Hi..i am a newbie here (hello!) i came across this thread on google and am now intrigued with the website http://aussiedirect.stores.yahoo.net/ and whether or not the UGG Australias the sell are genuine..

i emailed them to ask them some questions, but got back those Delivery Status Notification emails saying that sending had failed (grr!)

anyways, i was hoping someone who has bought a pair of UGG australias from this website could answer some of my questions..?

    1. does the logo on the back of the boot looks EXACTLEY like the image i have pasted below? i.e. the middle 'G' is larger, the word UGG is followed by the trademark 'R' (placed in the same spot) and the word "Australia" is in the same font as below.
    UGG_logo.gif

    2. On the sole of the boot, where it says "Ugg," is the trademark "R" (the 'r' in the circle) next to the second 'G' towards the bottom (As above)? also, on the "UGG Australia" bit on the sole of the shoe, is the trademark "R" in the EXACT same spot as the one above?

    3. Where is the boot made? it should say so on the label.

    4. did you DEFINATLY not get charged tax/import duties?

id reeeaalllyyy appreciate if someone could help me soon as I want to get them in the next few days so can get the 'tex free' offer! THANK YOU!
They are real I am looking at mine now..The G is bigger in the middle...The tag inside says made in china which is correct as they are..The R is in the circle....These are real and you have to order before the end of september to not get caught etc at customs..I just bought some more yesterday...100% happy with mine and a great bargain..You get the box with the guarantee etc....

    Thats great!
Did you look on the ebay "how to check for fake uggs" page?
Did your pass EVERY part of it?
They are very cheap for uggs:D , but would be very expensive for a pair of naff granny boots:mad: .
I will get my daughter a pair as part of her xmas prezzie. I won't save any money as I will still spend what I was going to spend anyway, BUT she will get more for it.

I got her a Tiffany bangle for her birthday, but she wants the chain style bracelet too, anyone know where to get them cheap, apart from Tiffanys or Harrods:rolleyes: ?

  • Has anybody tried to drive whilst wearing these sheepskin boots? They feel very clumpy although comfy and I'm not sure pedal control would be good.
  • Now what is the BEST colour to go for...what looks best with most things?

I have got chocolate brown as I thought they would'nt get dirty as quick as the light ones..They are really nice and I wear them with anything..I also have the long black ones...I have ordered my 13 year old some for her b/day as all her friends are getting them...We all chipped in though as even at £70 something for a 13 year old is a lot of money..The thing is though she's the same size as me so we will have 3 pairs to choose from..Great for me ha ha
  • About to order from Aussie direct and wanted to place my order before the end of the month. I am, however, concerned as they are not answering emails to various addresses I've tried or the telephone (taking into account the time difference)!! Anyone else had this problem?

My question was regarding the length of the boots. Could anyone advise the measurement of the short boots, compared with the tall boots. My daughter is looking for boots she can turn over and has some cheap fakes that are about 12" tall. Its difficult to tell from the pictures which pair to order.

Anyone out there who has ordered UGGS from aussiedirect, would you mind measuring your boots please!

Thanks in advance to anyone who replies.
  • Is anyone a UK5? If so, what would you order...a US7?

    Thanks
