  • About to order from Aussie direct and wanted to place my order before the end of the month. I am, however, concerned as they are not answering emails to various addresses I've tried or the telephone (taking into account the time difference)!! Anyone else had this problem?

My question was regarding the length of the boots. Could anyone advise the measurement of the short boots, compared with the tall boots. My daughter is looking for boots she can turn over and has some cheap fakes that are about 12" tall. Its difficult to tell from the pictures which pair to order.

Anyone out there who has ordered UGGS from aussiedirect, would you mind measuring your boots please!

Thanks in advance to anyone who replies.

35cm measured from the back of boot to bottom of sole on tall Uggs.

Now what is the BEST colour to go for...what looks best with most things?

    Sand is the classic colour.
If you have more than one pair than go for other colours, but first pair, sand.

I'm thinking about getting a pair, but I'm 39 & I'm worried I will look like mutton (dressed as lamb) in them or that they just look like granny boots on me.
  • I'm 38 and i don't think I'm mutton dressed as lamb. It's about the general way you dress i guess. Not just one pair of boots - I hope!

Hi I got the tall Chestnut ones which look great with jeans and the new beige jodhpurs from GAP. They also look fab with coloured tights and skirts / dresses.

The fur inside is so soft and you feel like your walking on a cloud when you've got them on.:T

Just to clarify, I don't think there is a limit to how old you can/should wear them, but I was just worried in case they are seen as a teen thing:rolleyes:
    & I don't dress like a granny either:rotfl:
  • No it's OK - I knew what you were saying...I was hopefully lending support but started to doubt my own arguement as I was writing it.

It might be due to the time difference why they haven't replied..They have replied to my questions no problem
  • Its not the time difference ... I've emailed 3 times over 3 days and tried calling at 2am when it was 11am their time and simply had no reply, not even an answerphone!! Surprising as others have reported email replies and helpful telephone advice. Someone did report that their emails hadn't been delivered, which I've had from one of the addresses quoted on the site, so I've now tried two others.

Anyway, someone has kindly given me a measurement for the tall boots, so now all I need is a measurement for the short boots to compare! If anyone can help that would be great.
  • Hi,

I emailed them about sizing & they got back to me really quick too.
I wonder if you might have an email problem? Have you checked your junk/spam box?
