I hope you have better luck than me. I just want a decent pair of boots. I can get fakes if I want them but these were sold as genuine. Why does the quality of australian made ones vary so much from china made ones - you would have thought it would be the other way round! :rotfl:
I have genuine ones too and I could tell the differne as soon as they came out of the box.

Thank you, i'm not holding out much hope of getting my postage back, the other disatisfied people here have got nowhere. Did you tell them you thought they were fake and did they reply?

Not necessarily... Mine are not right and Mookie's are not right but yours might be fine. We might have a bad batch.

He assured me that they were not fake but I remain unconvinced. If they are not fake they are at best very poorly made. That is why I have asked for some china made chocolate ones as I have lost confidence in the chestnut ones.

Mine were exactly like Mookie's and i could tell straightaway that they were not like my "real" Uggs. The stitching was bad on mine, especially around the heel and the binding tape. The heel was also flat as if it had been squashed.

However, some people have been really happy with their chestnut tall boots so it may be the luck of the draw and me and Mookie got unlucky.:rolleyes:

So you are exchanging? Are they definately sending you the china ones?

Updated ebay guide. Half way down it says they are NOT made in Australia any more - confirmed by Deckers.
