  • I wouldn't take that as irrefutable proof that these are fakes.

We already know the non-chocolate colurways are slightly different to those sold in the shops here, explained away by the fact that they're made in different countries!

    As I stated before I ordered 3 pairs - 1 black, 1 chestnut and 1 choc.

The first 2 weren't for me (well my OH) but her friend and on dropping them off she pointed out that they were made in Oz and had a different label inside - she said that's okay as the pair she bought 2 years ago from New York had the SAME label inside!!

They were however a slightly different fit and she had intended on sharing the 2 pairs with her daughter who it turned out didn't fit in them.

So she asked us to order another pair of chestnuts....

    From Aussiedirect.

And my lass cannae be happier with her 'made in china' choc boots - which are identical to those in Office (and much nicer than the other colours to boot imo)

I also own a pair made in oz i have had them over 2 years, I assure you your OH would not be happy with these, my hubby who knows nothing about uggs came in and said they are s*** send them back, they definately arent real.

Says it all. Some companys change supplier to meet demand, there could be any number of reasons why these boots and others who are not happy have been sent but as a buyer its our right to be satisfied, until i get their reply i'm happy to accept their possible reasons as long as i'm not left out of pocket!

But having bought, owned and having friends whos boots are all much of a much in likeness you honestly cant tell me the boots i received are of the same quality.

Maybe they are for trick or treat. ;)

They are they worst i've seen, they'd be better without a logo.
  • Like I said, the chocolate's are IDENTICAL to every other high street braches here.

The chestnuts, sand & black aren't but then it's already been pointed out previously in this thread that they aren't and explanations as to why. I believe Aussiedirect themselves have commented on it in this thread, or via contact with a poster here.

I looked back on all the posts from James at aussie direct.

They admitted the chocolate come from a different supply made in china.

There is no excuse for the boots i have here, anyone who wants to take a chance ordering from there feel free but i may lose over £20 in delivery charges. I didnt order them because i'd seen them here i found them on google, Ugg australia have already said they dont supply to aussiedirect, maybe their suppliers are stitching them up to keep up with the rush, i dont know.

I am not saying the sell fake boots full stop only that something is not right with the pair i have received today! Due to the time delay i have spent all day worrying about getting my money back and probably wont get a reply till the morning.
