hi mookie, my tall chestnuts are exactly like these (from aussie direct) and i am also really dissapointed, i agree that you shouldn't have to pay for return postage aswell as losing the original postage costs but i have emailed James numerous times since getting them and had no reply, i also posted a message to him on this site but no reply, i might just try and sell mine, probably get more money back than trying to return them. And just to add my email from uggaustralia said that they dont supply boots to aussiedirect.

they don't look great mookie..I wouldn't be happy either with those..I think the chocolate ones are the only ones coming out the best from aussie direct as far as I can see...
And regarding the gold uggs i could kick myself as my Brother in law just got me some tall black from the states as I changed my mind with the gold as I wasn't sure what they were like..Gutted now as I want some and could of got them from the US for half the price..any MSE's going to the states? Please LOL

I think aussiedirect are being supplied decent australian boots with fake labelling, just because these boots are real sheepskin and wool doesnt mean deckers corp have endorsed them making them, this James who works there I have read his posts and the way he talks is like a factory in oz is making boots just for their company, which says they are being supplied by a factory who has nothing to do with deckers, I have paid for a pair of boots being sold under Ugg australia brand name using their reputation to gain sales and take my money!

They dont look like the boots displayed on the website and i have seen enough comments here to see that the odd pairs (chocolate) mainly are genuine. All this about having an R on the sole cant be hard to update if fakers know thats what people look for.

I have had Ugg australia boots long enough to know these boots are not right, aussiedirect may or may not know but they should settle complaints with the buyers and not leave us at a loss. As i mentioned before I only ordered a pair 2 weeks ago from dusiafootwear and they were perfect, i know of friends who have ordered 9 pairs between them and not one is different to the other.

    I will pursue a refund!

it sounds like they are the ultra tall rather than the standard tall, whats the fur like at the bottom is it the same as the rest or is it different ? I have the chocolate and the bottom fur is cream and the rest is dark brown :)

Box label says Classic Tall Womens. The fur is black all through on them. Like I said my friend bought some Classic Talls from the high street last week and hers are much shorter, have a made in China logo and a cream insole

All that said, the heel on mine is like the genuine ones and not like the ones mookie has so I dont know.

Worn them all day now, and I do love them to death but like others on here Im a little unsure.

I've sent an email to James on the addy he sent my tracking number on, also to the addy in the consignment note regarding returns.

I'm clearly not being paranoid the boots are not right, also look how thick and fluffy my old ones look against them, i wear them all the time, in theory the new ones should be holding themselves up better than the worn ones.

I'm so angry i found them on google then found you guys trying to see if the company was ok after i'd ordered as i hadnt got a tracking number through.

I hope they do help me if i get no reply i will send photos, i signed for them, and as soon as i checked them out emailed them immediately to complain.

I cant believe this has happened :(

I think this is the final proof that these are not real UGG Australia boots. Having purchased some chestnut ones last year from a reputable retailer they are just like the chesnut ones in the left of the pic. Looking at the ones on the right they are obviously of inferior quality in many ways. Glad I didn't order any.
