Thats the label in the new boot, the ones i have made in Oz i have had 2 years, label is similar but slightly softer and the chestnut has a fabric stitched label made in china.

The label isnt my main issue its the boot, the narrow heel.

Some other emails from Ugg Australia HAVE said though that they are authorised sellers, others have said they sell both authentic and non-authentic boots. Seems you get a different reply depending on who you speak to over there :rolleyes:

Seems they've slowed in replying to emails so if you're not happy with them get on the phone to your credit card, probably quicker and easier; but not until after my other chestnuts have turned up

Aye, the black pair we got through looks to be similar to your old ones in stitching and badge colour but the heels ARE narrower. For me, if they fit and are genuine Deckers boots then a drop in cosmetic appearence I can put up with for almost half the price.

Spose the moral is if you want to be sure that the boots you receive are the same as you'd get in Office et al, order the chocolate colour.

So regardless Oz or china the boots are normally wide at the back and kind of chunky all round.

Are these Tall Chestnut ones? If so, has anyone else bought any of these and had that label on? I bought some short ones and didn't have the label.

Mine are exactly the same as yours - crap! I sent them back today at a cost of almost £10 and I want a pair of the proper chocolate ones in return but I resent having to pay out an additional £10 to get a decent product which I should have got in the first place. However, no postage costs have been offered by Aussiedirect.:rolleyes: I don't want to sell them bcause I would be embarrassed to take the money I paid for them.

Check post 177 - there they say they do. Although this could be a cover for slipping a load of fakes in (sand, chestnut, black).

I own a pair of chestnut and a black pair, had both a while so decided to buy new chestnuts as i love em and if i was happy i was gonna buy the chocolate too.

The worn ones are my ones which i am comparing to.

The ones in the pics on the right are the new ones from aussie direct.

They are Short Classic chestnuts. That green triangle ticket is normally found on cheaper ugg boots made in australia by other companys who sell ugg not uGg.

Does that make sense.
