    Texting not a cop out. Gosh I've only met her once. Talk about forward, you guys, blimey!! Eh!! Jeez. Especially if she's a little shy or nervous. Talk about scaring the girl! She seems comfortable with text at the moment so that's how I'll ask for now. I've has girls call me after a date or two or even before but they've been particularly extrovert. ..

    OP, you seem to be getting a lot of advice from people who spend their life on a forum, (check post counts). Use you common sense and don't listen to these people.

    Why would that be ?


    People can post online through the day or night to relive boredom or because they like the chat or banter and or giving advice to others, This does not mean for 1 second they are any less able to have and offer good advice as opposed somebody who does not visit forums.

    Since I gave you my reason after the sentence you highlighted and info provided in the first post (her being more reserved).
    You're '20 years' experience seems to have excluded common sense and that one size doesn't fit all.
    I am guessing you're approaching middle age? Online and other dating such as speed dating have changed and so has etiquette.
    We spent one and a half hours together. That's all. We're not going out or anything.
    Calls come after dates 3/4
