Owww Dustykitten, I'm sorry you feel bad.
Make yourself a nice cup of tea, give the kids a job to do, and put your feet up if even for 10 minutes.

    *hugs*

DS is teething, so we have periods of lovely smiles and cooing, then periods of desperate thumb-gnawing and crying (DS, not me!). I have only done dailies today, and have a headache too - I think it is the dank depressing weather. OH has taken DD out, so I am going to set myself a solway thirty minute challenge. Anyone else welcome. I will be back at 16.13 (roughly!!).

    Trying again.

One load of washing dried outside.
Asda delivery came and all put away.
    Did living room yesterday.

    Work soon

We think we may have a ghost cat. The dog always used to get a toy for our old cat and wag her tail like mad - she died nearly two years ago. But we've have several cats over the years. For many years I've felt a cat snuggle up against my legs in bed (our cats sleep in the kitchen at night). DH sneered until it happened to him! Quite comforting. Sometimes our cats will watch something go by at their level, you can see their eyes following something.

But when things get moved about and you find them somewhere weird. And when there is loud knocking on the living room door when you're all in the room together and the back and front doors are locked - that's not a cat.....

Oh polly that is so weird - I have gone all goosebumpy.
  • Back now - fully glammed up! Not sure how the new 'do' fits in with 'flying' and going back to work in 2 weeks! I did tell the hairdresser that as all 3 kids and I need to be out of the house by 8am - I have only 2 minutes to spend on hair! Oh well!
BM on and sausages defrosting for tea. Just off to peel spuds and veg (or rope in child labour for that) - and then can crack on with rest of list.
    Hopefully back later!
(the cat thing is spooking me out!!)

Floors hoovered downstairs, floors washed, surfaces wiped, lots of junk binned/recycled/put in the right place, washing folded and put away, toys sorted.... Phew. Going to start dinner in a moment and will see how I feel later.

Dustykitten, you are so right about natures way of making me feel ready. I am SO ready. I cannot bear the though of waiting 4 weeks. I am having TONS of Braxton Hicks, TONS of cramping and twinges, lots of nausea, can't sleep at all and (as you all know) am totally totally wrecked. Wouldn't it be heaven if it just came tomorrow :D

Having read everyone's posts today I feel very lazy compared to you all but I suppose I have a good excuse LOL

    Since this morning I have:
    - done zero housework
    - done puzzles with kids
    - dozed on sofa for 15 minutes
    - done lunch for us all
    - taken kids to library for story and craft time - 45 minutes of sitting down doing not a lot - bliss :T
    - taken them to cafe in Asda for snack
    - let them choose some baby clothes from the hopeless selection in Asda. This is the only stuff we've bought new for the baby but I thought it deserved a brand new sleepsuit etc at least in hospital.
    - come home and I sneaked upstairs with breadsticks and cream cheese so i can eat without them ruining their tea :rotfl:

Might stuff things in hospital bag now, its all behind me inc bag on the spare bed all I have to do is swivel the chair round.

Husband said he's be home earlyish tonight as he knows I am feeling rough. Just got to sort something for the kids tea first. Maybe scrambled egg, thats nice and easy.
