:bdaycake: Happy Birthday lil_me !! :bdaycake:
Hope you have a great day, dont do too much today, will you now. And as others have said, 30's rock, I hated my 20'2, roll on the 40's LOL
So I think you are right about me slowing down, my body is telling me to stop! Its so frustrating, I hate just sitting around!
pigpen - have a great holiday
sexymouse - great idea re the casual list but gah if I leave it for hubs he wouldn't even notice it, he is hopeless. And if he did think I was hinting he would deliberately not do the things. Its taken me ages to get him to assemble the cot, which felt like one of the more fundamental things on the list! How did your veggie toad in the hole turn out ? If its good can you give me the recipe ?
tracy - yes thats is me exactly! shattered beyond belief, spend more time up in the night at the loo than I do in bed, feeling sick in the morning and half the day too, its horrendous. Since yesterday I have just thought I want it over now. Before that, even in Sunday I was completely the opposite thinking I just want DS settled at school for a week before baby comes but now I JUST WANT IT OUT so I can begin the road to feeling like me again.
BTW your baby is GORGEOUS
juliejim - thanks for your message - due date is the 19th September, 4 weeks tomorrow. 4 weeks. groan. well DS was 2weeks late, DD 1 week early, so she was 3 weeks earlier than him, so maybe this one will be 3 weeks earlier than her, and will be next week LOL
mumoftwo - wow Happy Birthdya in Dutch is quite a mouthful LOL
So good morning everyone! urgh dreadful night again. I got up about 8pm having slept from 6.30pm-ish right through the chaos, had some food and then went back to bed around 1030. But DS was up from 11 to 1 whingeing for drinks and whatnot, and then I just couldn't sleep again. So the early start went to pot this morning, and we all got up around 8:45. Oh well. There is always tomorrow.
Anyhow I am going to try and do a bit less whilst still getting some things done IYSWIM.
For instance.
This morning I slopped some paint splodges on DS wall so I can by paint for DH to paint DS room at weekend. If I don't buy the stuff he won't do it and DS is desperately feeling left out of new rooms and things. There is no way we will get it done once baby comes.
Other than that I might pack hospital bag finally (currently all in a pile on spare room bed). I have kids booked in for a craft session at library this afternoon so after that we will go to Asda so they can choose some new clothes for baby to wear in hospital. Thought it would be nice for them to be involved more.
I just then have to wait for Asda man to bring all my shopping tonight :j
Right. Going downstairs for something to drink and snack and puzzle time with kids.
Have great days, see you later

Slinking back in again.
The house is a tip, I'm back on the diet coke and I am feeling pretty low. Just took me two hours to skim this thread (bottles, nappies, what have you got in your mouth spit it out, etc).
DS so desperate to sleep and fighting it so hard.

Lil_me :
Not up to much today, I have a splitting headache so laundry will get done (with the kitchen door shut to keep the noise level down) and I'll do tea but I think that might be it... will have to see how I'm feeling once I've had something else to eat - I really fancy a big fat white bread sandwichOh well, best go hang the towels out on the line
Creeping back in for accountability after falling off the wagon in 2016.Need to get back to old style in modern ways, watching the pennies and getting stuff done!0 -
Happy Birthday to you, Happy Birthday to you, Happy Birthday dear Lil me, Happy Birthday to yooooouuuuuu!!!!!Be grateful you can't hear me singing!Morning, a late one from me today. Had a rubbish nights sleep, the wind was howling all night and keep thinking of the poor people in the hurricane in Mexico and Jamica. We were caught up in Hurricane Wilma (Oct 05) and I still have nightmares now of what we went through and just couldn't put it out of my head last night. Heard DS at 6 but then it was 8am when we woke up! DH was late for work but lovely to have a lie in. Not done much, walked to PO and shop with buggy and DS now back in bed. It really feels like Autunm today, quite chilly here. Thanks for all the comments on my boy, yes he is very, very cute but then I'm baised. The pic is of him in the bath and normally his hair is bright white blond so he looks like a little, pugey angel:Dtracy he looks like a little angel
Yes, looks are very decieving aren't they:D  He's at the into and touching every stage now, I seem to spend my day saying no.

The spooky stuff! I lived in a haunted house for about 6 months before we moved here. It was a cottage that was about 300 years old and we did it up for months and then moved in. It was haunted by an old lady, she never did anything bad but by the time we left things were starting to happen all the time and there was a sinister streak to it. We'd lie in bed and hear furniture moving, her walking upstairs, she'd turn taps on, once empited a bag of carpet bits all over the floor. By the time we left DH had seen her once and I had started to catch her in mirrors and out of the corner of my eye. Three different sets of workmen also heard her too when no one else was home. The village is known to be haunted and Most Haunted show did a summer thing there last month. The house we're in now is new so didn't come with any past tentants but these last couple of months things have been happening. We see shadows on the stairs, the dogs respond (in a friendly way) to who ever it is, DS waves and follows someone with his eyes and we just 'know' someones here. The only time I feel scared is when DS was crying in the night and the there was a very clear shape of someone stood against the curtains and DH has seen something by the cot. But it doesn't at all feel sinsiter, just makes my hair stand up. I like to think its a close family member who died young and suddenly at the beginning of the year and shes watching DS but I know thats just grief talking. People don't normally believe us about the old house because we stayed there but in the end it became a way of life. DH never believed in anything like this and was brought up in a very strict church family so I know its real for him to admit it. I was brought up accepting these things and very differently (my parents see faith healers, etc) so to me its just part of life. Hope I've not offended anyone with this, this is just what I think/believe and its up to you and your believes are to how you feel about it.:o
Right, better go and grap some lunch while DS is down, leftover mash potato, fried and made into a sarnie with tommy sauce - yummy! x
Edit Hev and Tartum Mum - hello, nice to see you back!
