Not putting it in my sig (prob won't let me anyway - always have too many lines if I try to add anything!) but at my health check I weighed in at 12st 10. I should ideally be about 9 and a half. But my first aim is to lost the 10lbs - will give myself to the end of October for that.

That seems fair enough! - hmm 6/7 weeks to lose 10 pounds - should be doable - especially if you can drag those dogs of yours out in the rain :rotfl:

    Debt-free and Proud!
Yep am going to start being more forceful with them! They do have raincoats after all (greyhounds don't have a lot of their own so that is only fair). But honestly you physically have to force them out - they hate getting wet. Maybe if I drive them to the park then the call of the wild will encourage them? Otherwise I'll have to walk on my own in the rain!

Sniggers - reminds me of a friends lurcher - she has two - one will dive out of the car/house as those she hasn't been walked in weeks! and the weather makes no odds - the other one (with the thicker coat I might add! :D), if the weather is not PERFECT will have to be forced out into the garden even!

    Hello Dragon

Hope the bones are healing and that the lurgy has gone.

I did a bit of exercise today, I walked across the road to the bus stop to get the bus into town (basically a mile and a half up hill), I visited Argos and the building society (closed my ISA - thank you Gordon Brown...I blame you, you horrid little man:mad: ) oh sorry about that little rant, I haven't been able to save anything since he came to power. Argos was a necessity as I wanted to buy a new house phone - I have or should that be had a cordless job but the battery dies after an hour on the phone (taking advantage of free calls), now the new one has big buttons which are handy for me because I am as a blind as a bat well, not really, I need to cut down on eye strain as I only have one eye to see out of.

I used £20 of free vouchers (surveys) and only paid out £9.95. Instead of walking home like I would normally do, I hopped on the bus again but at least it stopped me getting wet because the heavens opened with a vengence after I got home.

I too have chores and made a start yesterday and maybe I will do some more tomorrow (i hate chores).

Hope you are as snug as a bug in a rug and keeping out of the wet.

OMG, I just looked out of the window and saw something strange in the sky - an area of blue...it can't be my eyes must be playing up....LOL
