Forgot to add Merry Christmas Dragon..teach me to be focused on MIL.:)Blackadder: Am I jumping the gun, Baldrick, or are the words 'I have a cunning plan' marching with ill-deserved confidence in the direction of this conversation?
Still lurking around with a hope of some salvation:cool:0 -

and what is wrong with travelling by broomstick *humph*, seriously though if your MIL taught Mr B then I can understand why you don't want to see her
My Mam was born and bred in Country Durham so this is for her and you can see them here http://www.hcrafts.com/english_county_maps.html I have a few of these to do for me as wellhence the needing to get some stitching done!
Oh and merry Christmas :beer:Do not meddle in the affairs of Dragons, for thou art crunchy and good with catsup

Need to phone the bank on Tuesday - I just got hit with a £30 charge for going overdrawn for one day - I only get £7500 a year so that is a fair chunk of money for me!
I have decided in nicer thoughts that for every pound I lose I am going to pay an extra pound off my CC - so that is a real incentive to lose the weight as I want that CC gone!Do not meddle in the affairs of Dragons, for thou art crunchy and good with catsup

Dr Dragon is currently trying to "break" the Furry Dragon (tm), he took him out for a walk of over an hour yesterday and he spent most of the rest of the day curled up! Dr Dragon and the Furry Dragon (tm) have currently been out for 20 mins, it will be interesting to see how long they are out today! :rotfl:
Going to phone the bank (or go in) on Tuesday and see if they will negotiate (yes I went overdrawn but for less than 24 hours!), meanwhile I am trying to see about some clearing so I can stitch on the RCO (Ruddy Cat Ornaments!), other than that I am trying to get some semblance of order in my life (yes and stitching!)Do not meddle in the affairs of Dragons, for thou art crunchy and good with catsup

semblance of order? what's that?
we had friends round for lunch today but unfortunately they turned up an hour early whilst we were still sorting out this tip, i really must get some more stuff tidied away tomorrow whilst OH is at work.
our porch roof fell down this morning! been waiting for it to happen and it has resulting in a visitation from upstairs owner who will sort it out in his own time. turns out that the message that he was going to sort it over christmas was a load of codswallop, but then i expected little else. apparently he's going to get quotes now - guess all the ones i got 6 months ago weren't satisfactory.0 -
Hope you can manage to sort out the bank Dragon...talking of dogs Tess is in big trouble..she has opened and eaten a full box of chocolates tonight..she's fast asleep on the chair now!!!
Lemon Tree sorry to hear about the porch.I do hope he gets it fixed soon.0 -
:mad::mad::mad::mad: to your upstairs neighbour LT! Sounds like he is a waste of air quite frankly! Taxi :mad: to Tess as well, mind you I hope she is okay as choccie is not good for woofers! (mind you a friend of mine had one of her dogs eat a whole Easter egg, foil and all , the dog was fine but the "output" was interesting for a few days )Do not meddle in the affairs of Dragons, for thou art crunchy and good with catsup
