I have just put 4 £10 cards in my basket, gone to checkout and
    "gift card promotion applied".
Changed to 3 x £10 and no promotion applied.
  • I'll go and do it then.

The website seems to suggest that, as long as you buy them all together, it should be OK.

Contrary to this week's email claim that it's valid for 10 years, though, note that the Amazon site says "The £10 promotional code can be spent on products sold by Amazon on Amazon.co.uk until 11 November, 2015"

So, restricted use in the Marketplace and a time limit.
I'm dreaming of a white Christmas.
But, if the white runs out, I'll drink the red.

I got this offer last week – which was great timing. I was about to place a large order on Amazon marketplace, so bought a £50 gift card first, then used it as part payment on the marketplace order.

I then got my free £10 code within 30 minutes, and promptly used it on a small £20 spend from Amazon that I was also going to make anyway. Nice little bonus.

The gift vouchers are valid for 10 years. The email does say the £10 code is to be used by November
  • How long has it taken to get the £10 voucher? I purchased my £40 voucher about 12 hours ago but not had it through yet. I know it says a day but noticed a poster above got it in 30 minutes.
  • 24-48 hours in their T&Cs.

Amazon spell it out on the relevant page: 'Receive £10 off a future Amazon.co.uk retail order when you purchase at least £40 of Amazon.co.uk Gift Cards ("GCs") in a single order from the selection of Amazon.co.uk Gift Cards provided on this Amazon.co.uk promotion page, by 12 September, 2015'
  • To answer my own question, I received mine exactly 24 hours later. Worth noting the £10 is a promotional credit which will be applied at the checkout to products sold by Amazon only. It's not a gift card that can be added to your gift card balance.
