Hi,
Can anyone recommend a suitable building society (or bank) account suitable for 3 joint family members?
This will be to receive rent paid by our tenant that will be separate to our current accounts.
Many thanks.
Neil

Why would you not just receive the rent to one of you, and forward 2/3 payment to the other two of you? Or if you are running a business, you are surely looking for a business account?
Sorry I wrote a better answer then noticed you are not the tenants - read it the wrong way round hence the edit

Ask at your own bank or the bank of one of the other owners?0

Are you aware that joint accounts will create financial relationships in your credit files?0

Thanks for your input. We don't really know how we will go in the medium term. The house is inherited, and this is a stop gap for a while.0

If you insist on having a joint account for this then look at a basic account or a savings account so that one of the three couldn't run up a large overdraft and leave the others in debt.I’m a Forum Ambassador and I support the Forum Team on the Budgeting & Bank Accounts, Credit Cards, Credit File & Ratings and Energy boards. Joint accounts are two named people. You will find it hard to find a account that will allow three inless it's a charity club account, most banks have pulled these types of accounts.
Try searching for treasurers accounts see what comes back. alternatively have a count in one name and everyone funds this account, a savings pot can be renamed to anything you want so Tennants a/c for exampleI’m a Forum Ambassador and I support the Forum Team on the Banking & Borrowing, and Reduce Debt & Boost Income boards.
