    Got in touch with somebody and , he said to me to take it back to the shop and they'll see what they can do.

    Absolutely ridiculous.

    Any ideas on how I can reset my iPad from the cloud? , I can't even gain access to the iPad's home screen to reset it that way.

    What's ridiculous about that? Or were you expecting them to come to your house with a nice, shiny new one and exchange it for the one they don't even have proof is broken?

    Get your Mummy or Daddy to go to the store with you as I get the distinct feeling that you are more than likely going to shoot yourself in the proverbial foot if you go by yourself.

    Did you have kapersky or set up the find my phone feature on the device?

    Both of those have a remote wipe feature I believe.
