See how easily sellers can fall victim to deadbeat/suspo bidders...

Yes and see how easy it is to resolve with not a neutral or negative in sight..all that has happened is that person, and all their ids appear to have been suspended. Such a silly person, they had 600+ positive feedback all now gone...

But surely you are obliged to leave a positive, because he did pay promptly after all.... What more did he have to do to earn it?...

And surely the buyer is obliged to leave me feedback after receiving the item to confirm alls well.

He had it next day and Im waiting for a comfirmation that he's happy with it. normally when a positive feedback is left.

What happens if i leave him a positive and a few days donw the line he neautrals/or negs me in regards to the receipt?

why has he left others positive feedback for items brough after mine, but has a problem leaving me some?

Been ebaying for years and still got 100% feedback and dont want some idiot to spoil it becasue they decide afterwards they want a warranty with the item as well.

Enough experience to know not to leave feedback yet as Ive seen others get burnt like this for no reason.

Seriously? I declare thee a Troll and banish thee to the corner for being blinkered! Do you Really think any of these muppets deserve a positive?!

And now that neutrals are a further stick to beat sellers with, I'll be damned if I lose a second income because some idiot blames me for their postman being stupid.

    No need to be rude.
I agree that that list, if it really is to be believed, contains some frivolous complaints. But to suspect EVERY buyer of being like that takes the biscuit.
I do more buying than selling but I always leave feedback when some one pays. If someone then left me the kind of negative you listed, I would respond as one is able to.
I think most ebayers can read through the lines of some poor feedback, I certainly can and poor seller feedback does stop me always stop me from buying from that seller.

Unfortunately, it's these people who sour it for everyone that lead to sellers protecting themselves. It's a lot less tempting to leave a trivial neg when you know there's a good chance of getting one back.

Then you've never sold to an idiot like the ones we describe. Congratulations - long may your luck continue.

  • When I am selling, I always leave feedback as soon as I have received payment as the buyer has completed their part of the transaction to my satisfaction...
When I am buying, I leave feedback once the item has been received and I am happy with it...
That's what the system is all about....to let the rest of the world know if this user is to be trusted....it seems that a lot of people are just interested in scoring points...
It really winds me up when I receive emails from sellers telling my that they will leave me positive feedback once I have left it for them...

Oh gawd not this debate again!! :D

Most of us who leave f/b for buyers once we know they have received the item and are happy with it have learned by our mistakes, that's why we do it. For those of you who leave it immediately, you will learn too!!! :rotfl:

Also we have to remember that feedback IS NOT compulsory. So no-one is entitled to it or obliged to leave it.

It's been a while but I'm off to slash my wrists.

Buyers don't get feedback until they have left it to signify they are happy.

As was said before sellers who leave it first will learn the hard way.

Remember bad feedback has little or no effect on a buyer whilst it can impact badly for a seller.

Yes but sellers need buyer's, not only for sales but also for feedback, sometimes a little courtsey can go a long way with a buyer.
