 Thanks Aesop - I've got some premium bonds (only a few) from 40 odd years ago - must get onto that !

Also got a dormant bank account with Alliance and Leicester which I know had £100 in it 'cos That was what you had to have to get your shares all those years ago !

Anyway £55 clear on ebay sales since I started this although Paypal says £96 - so I've left the £16 in to cover fees and drawn the £80 to bank.

    well done on eBay sales.

definitely chase up the premium bonds, they can also tell you if any won and you didn't get your money.

and yes for the old A & L account! get your money back!

I love posting this one as so many people do it and come back and tell us they have found old accounts with some money in.

£50 Vouchers as a leaving gift from some work colleagues - they also got me a gorgeous ring & earrings - so kind of them - I was really touched by their generosity.

Thanks Aesop for the info about quid co game. I played it over and over and was just about to give up when I won £2 :)

And the final bit of good news here is that the kitchen is beginning to take shape at last and the cooker is in it (although it's not connected up yet!)

Sending hugs to those that need them

    Sharon

oh and aside, for those of you who think why bother,I never win freepostcodelottery, luckyphone etc.

our own emmaglet won £50 the other day with Ashleigh's free daily prize draw, she also won selfie lottery in the first few days it had started, as had nat21luv, who also won on the selfie lottery.

there are old members who no longer post, who have won with freepostcodelottery.

me I have won a fair bit with luckyphone - numbers and £10, so yes it could really be you. the best part. all these sites are FREEEEEEEE

    That's lovely:j

Leaving a job is an exciting time in a way isn't it, but a bit scary too. One of the main reasons is leaving work colleagues behind. It sounds as if yours are really nice.

Wishing you success and happiness in what you go on to do next:beer:

You were up late posting this, Aesop:eek: Do you ever find time to sleep????

I know you mentioned Ashleigh's free daily draw before and typically I haven't done anything about it yet:o. Late to the party as ever! Have you a referral link please?

Congratulations to everyone we 'know' or know of who has won on the various draws and lotteries:beer: and thanks to you Aesop for keeping on telling us about them:T

  • Thanks for the good luck wishes Aesop & carboot. I'm leaving my job to work as a self-employed coach & facilitator (& pretty much anything else that people will pay me to do :rotfl:)

I rejoined this thread back in Dec 2014 with the express goal of building a financial cushion so that I felt safe enough to leave my job & pursue my dream - I did it & tomorrow is my leaving “do”!

Thanks so much for the wonderful support that you have given me along the way.

Not sure what to do about this challenge from next month onwards as much of the money I count towards this challenge will become my income.... I would miss you all too much if I left this thread so I will have to find a way - maybe now is the time to get my head around eBay again.

    £57.50 Coaching to add
Shifting my energy for 2020 :heart::heart:

that's amazing! :T:j how lovely that you are able to be in a great position.

my MS stuff is my main job at the moment until I can find a salaried job, so I don't count it as my earnings, on here. But I count ebay sales, consumer pulse, daily mail rewards, etc. so if you have time for surveys, apps, etc, please still keep posting. will be good to see how you are getting on.
