How long did the money take to arrive once you'd hit £50? Did they pay by BACS? I thought they only paid by cheque. I'm on 4950 points so hopefully will be receiving 50 much needed pounds shortly:j
Yes it was BACs and took about 3 weeks I think.Jan £10 a day £326.75/£3100 -

And then I remember that Xmas is looming and I try to get interested again :rotfl::rotfl:
Sorry for the Xmas reminder folksI keep as much as I can of survey vouchers, boots points, nectar points and tesco vouchers to put towards Xmas. I have 9 nieces and nephews so it can get abit crazy.

I haven't paid a penny apart from stamps and don't intend to
Lloyd's should already have all your information on file, although they may come out with the excuse that anything over 7 yrs old is archived.
when we did DH's Barclay's, we did it online and didn't have to pay a fee.

there's a form to fill in and send in.
also where you able to claim on the PPI whern your circumstances changed? if not, then you can say you were missold PPI. you understood at the time it would cover you and then you found out you weren't covered.

Keep smiling:beer: xxx
Did you have to go through the procedure of requesting copies of paperwork from any of your PPI claims? I understood it to cost £10 a pop:eek:. I've got some of the paperwork from one of the two that I had PPI with (Lloyds:() over the years. I haven't anything from the oldest one I had with them and my online statements don't go back that far. Don't want to pay them any more than I already have and to be honest I haven't applied for PPI because I ticked the box myself and signed for it on the application form:o. My only claim would be that nobody explained the Ts and Cs to me but I expect they could say they were there in black and white to be read by anyone applying.
The thought of a refund of even hundreds never mind thousands would be a godsend but I honestly don't think I've got a leg to stand on:mad:0 -
Evening everyone
Hope you are having a better day today carbootcrazy.
Aesop, so sorry to hear you are having a rough time, as carbootcrazy said you are such an inspiration to the rest of us. Hope things pick up for you soon.
Thanks Aesop for the info about quid co game. I played it over and over and was just about to give up when I won £2
Got my money from Ziffit too and they honoured the 10% extra that I forgot to put the voucher in for so that was £37.37. I also got the postcard from Swagbucks to verify my account today so have redeemed a £5 AGC - won't add till I get it though.
And the final bit of good news here is that the kitchen is beginning to take shape at last and the cooker is in it (although it's not connected up yet!)
Phew - that was a lot of waffle!
Sending hugs to those that need them

No, when I had the PPI I was in full-time work and didn't have any changes of circumstances during the life of both loans:(. I paid off both these loans with Lloyds early. In both cases they were for considerable amounts and purely for cash-flow reasons. I knew I wouldn't need the money long-term (oh, the good old days;)). I only took out PPI because foolishly I thought I might have more chance of being accepted for the loans if I did, but no one at Lloyds ever told me that I should have it.
Like I said, I don't think I've a leg to stand on with a claim:mad:.0 -
£50 Vouchers as a leaving gift from some work colleagues - they also got me a gorgeous ring & earrings - so kind of them - I was really touched by their generosity.Shifting my energy for 20200
