CC limit increase=CR increase?

Very simple question.

Does my recent cap1 increase 200-450 mean my credit score and or rating increase

I'm asking as this is my 1st increase since beginning a slow journey to re building my credit rating since being unemployed 2011

This would normally indicate that you have been managing your account well, not exceeding your limits or late payments, that sort of thing.

So your relationship with Cap1 is improving. Increasing your credit limit means they trust you a little more, essentially with their money [your credit limit]

Credit scores are meaningless, so whether the made up number goes up or down is of no consequence.

I agree credit scores are meaningless.

Just thought I could use it as a wee indicator that my rating will improve slowly whilst on dmp
