I had my 6 week scan, everything is fine except i have some cysts. I cried when i saw the heart beat. I would love to look at that book panda, ill pm you my address. I prob will start a count down in a few weeks time!

Thanks Ali, I was wondering where you had got to recently. I cant wait to start shopping for things in a couple of months.

As for money, im going to make an overpayment to my egg loan in the next few days for about £300, they didnt take payment this month as it was the first one. i have no idea where my totals are at the moment.

It was really emotional, there were lots of women there and it was a clinic for people with probs in early pregnancy so there were people getting bad news as well. I honestly dont know how staff manage working there. Is there any news on your sister yet snaggles?

No, no news yet - I don't know when the appointment is, but it must be sometime soon. I don't like to ask her the exact details, because I know she would rather tell people in her own time, but she knows I'm just at the end of a phone if she needs me.

The staff at those places really do deserve a medal. I just can't imagine the extremes of emotion they must witness every day.

Im waiting for them to send me my appointment through. ive got a 24hr number that i can call if i have any problems now because of the cysts, so i feel better about that.

Hopefully the cysts won't give you too much bother - not really something I know about I'm afraid, but hopefully it isn't too serious.

How fantastic that you got to see the heartbeat! What a relief for you as well. I remember both times when I found out I was pregnant that I didn't actually believe it until I saw it on the screen. Was your OH with you? Bet he had a tear in his eye as well! I'm sure you said an even bigger thank-you to him today for that fantastic Xmas pressie!

My OH was with me when i had the scan, he seemed to be more interested in making sure i could see everything and kept checking that i new what i was looking at. I think he did have a tear in his eye though. I think this definatly gows down as the best christmas pressie ever though.

I was a bit naughty with money yesterday. my friend came over and we went out for lunch which for some reason i offered to pay for and ended up spending £20. I need to remind myself that i am not rich! ive not been too bad otherwise.

Lunar, at my first scan they told me I had cysts and at my second that I had fibroids. Neither caused any problems (but then I didn't end up giving birth naturally so that may be why).

Your OH sounds just fantastic - you've definitely got a keeper there!

What's your actual expected date then? October or thereabouts?

PS Hubby brought the book back this morning - on it's way tomorrow.
