Hi I'm back in though I go away on 26 September (so so so excited now) and will be hauling!!!

Until then though I promise to be good and can't think of anything that I need for the hols. I have fessed up on last months' challenge today to a purchase I made yesterday at Trafford Centre - a Nails Inc gel polish. Am gonna try it tonight and if it wears well I will use it for my hols rather than having gels done at the salon.

My PP list is a bit limited but here goes:-

    Tresemme Conditioner
    Elemis Lime Blossom Balancing Cleanser
    Laura Geller mascara
    Clinique mascara
    Cargo blush

All from last month or 4 x 4.

    Elemis Papaya Enzyme Cream
    L'occitane Divine oil
    LE Nourishing mask
    LE IBST

Has anyone tried Philosophy The Present. I tried it in JL yesterday and the skin on my left hand felt so good afterwards.
Back for the No Buying Toiletries challenge. I pledge to only buy when I run out of a product that is not already in my stash no matter what wonderful emails land in in my Inbox or threads I read on MSE re: glitches!

  • Thanks for the new thread!

I have had a busy few days with many UUs and a few INs!

    UUs:

Palmolive Almond Milk Hand Wash 300ml: Really liked the scent of this hand wash - WDBA.
S&G Sugar Crush Shower Gel 250ml: Again, another lovely smelling rpoduct with lathers brilliantly. WBA in the xmas sales no doubt.
Boots Tea Tree and Witch Hazel Spot Wand: This was an interesting spot treatment with a gel application for the day and a cream one for night. It's not as good as my HG Witch Stock but I have another in the stash. WNBA.
Boots Fruit and Sweet Amber Body Spray 75ml: HG - WDBA and have done so!

    INs:

Boots Fruit and Sweet Amber Body Spray 75ml
Boots Bergamot and Berries Body Spray 75ml
Garnier Ultimate Blends Strength Restorer Shampoo (250ml), Conditioner (200ml) and Serum (50ml) - The serum is absolutely brilliant and I am using a freebie sample of it at the moment.

Thanks for the new thread Babafette.

Small UU of Lacura wipes, pink packet, the ones that always go out of stock first in A!di. These are the only ones I use now, unless I can't get them. Then it's Wilko's but they are nowhere near as good, tbh.

Slightly larger NBI of a Garnier Ultimate Blends Nourishing Repairer Shampoo 400 ml . This is for really dry hair, but shampoo is shampoo, most seems to suit my mop. Will be trying it later on today and duly reviewing.

I met up with some friends in Liverpool and went to Lush. I bought 2 solid body moisturisers and a balm to replace the LE balm that is nearly finished. Was quite pleased that I limited it to these! I have also ordered (although they haven't arrived yet) 2 SBC body butters on a really good offer. These are regular use items for me. I really like them.

  • Thank you to Babafette for starting us off this month.

I am starting to feel a little bit more in control of my spending thanks to the discipline of using this thread, but I have a seriously long way to go before my stash is used up so I am in again for this month (year/decade....)

I have a UU to report from the end of last month. It's a sample size of a Creme de la Mer serum. I think I got this in a goody bag at some kind of event as I've never bought anything from them. It costs a mere £240 for 30ml. Need I say I wouldn't buy at that price? (it wasn't anything special anyway!)

I have two INs to report, both from Balance Me:-

-Natural Protection Moisturiser SF25 - I bought this because when I had a facial a couple of weeks ago the beautician said my skin was a bit dehydrated and she thought I should use SPF every day. I have it in my tinted moisturiser, but I don't wear that every day, so got this for make up free days.

    - Radiance Facial Oil - I probably shouldn't have bought this quite yet as I have a couple more serum sample sizes to UU, but it definitely won't be long until I need, and I'll be back in an air-conditioned environment v soon and will need something a bit richer for my skin.

Anyway, I got 15% off both - you get that on your first order if you go direct to balance me, and they do some pretty decent loyalty deals for customers too. I have liked the products of theirs I've used so far, and I like their ethos as a company so I expect to buy more over time from them.

In the meantime PP for this month:-

    - REN Rosa Centiflora 3 in 1 cleansing water
    - Weleda Relaxing Body Oil
    - This Works perfect heels rescue balm
    - Jergens skin firming body lotion
    - Clarins Multi Active Jour Day Cream
    - Dr Organic Snail Gel Hand and Nail Elixir
    - Anatomicals wake up hair and body wash
    - Aromatherapy Associates Renewing Rose Cleanser
    - Clarins Eye Contour Balm
    - Balm Balm frankincense light facial oil
    - Soft and Gentle wild rose and vanilla antiperspirant
    - Mio Boob tube
    - Mio workout wonder
    - Clinique moisture surge overnight mask
    - Antipodes Ananda toner
    - Aurelia face scrub
    - Neals Yard hair wash (it's their base with some oils I've added)

Some of these are nearly empty so I expect to replace with something else during the month.
