    Evening!

Just thought I'd pop in to say 'thanks' to whoever posted about the windup radio in Argos. Got one today and it's fab. The torchlight isn't as big as I'd like but it will do the job. I'll use the radio in my bedroom at night.

    Cheers

Which one did you get poorbabe? I didn't know Argos had them and am just looking online now. The prices don't seem too bad and there are a good few different ones.
Trying to spend less time on MSE so I can get more done ... it's not going great so far! :)

Been miserable this afternoon here - very autumn like

I've been thinking that it has been feeling autumnal... very depressing for summerbabies like me!
    Man plans and God laughs...
Perhaps travel cannot prevent bigotry. But by demonstrating that all people cry, laugh, eat, worry and die, it introduces the idea that if we try to understand each other, we may even become friends.

Oh that's the one I was looking at - it would be perfect for powercuts. Not that handy as a pocket torch (but there's a smaller one also on special offer). Now I just have to restrain myself from buying too many torches! :D

Happy Birthday for tomorrow - hope the sun shines for you!

Haha, you're probably right! Think we've got some rain forecast for tomorrow but you might be lucky! Ah well, you can always stay in and eat birthday cake! :bdaycake:

Thanks carlislelass, Wilkinsons sounds like a great shop that has everything. Alas, there are none over here in Dublin. Probably just as well or I'd have no money! :D
