No dont drain the water out. Use the key and go round with a cloth to catch drips. Turn the key , if air comes out wait until the water then starts to dribble out and tighten it again. If water comes out then theres no air in there which is good.

Sammy_kaye18 - Bleeding radiators actually gets rid of the air that acumulates in them. If your rads are hot at the bottom and cold at the top then use the key to allow all the air out and then they will fill up with water again. Start downstairs and work your way up. Hope that helps :)

Found this site with free patterns for fingerless gloves/mitts, apologies if been posted before. They might look a bit "Albert Steptoe" but my hands get cold even in the house, anyway who cares. Gonna make some for working on the computer at home and work. Will make some funky ones for niece for xmas, as ther'e bang in fashion right now.
Last christmas my lovely brother bought me some fingerless gloves that plug into a usb port and have heat pads in them. I suffer from cold hands and they are lovely. The kids can laugh at me all they like. I don't know where he got them from though sorry.
