Oh dear, not good. I have a couple I use myself, no problem and the hottie sized one which is all fluffy. Mind you, they only need about 15 seconds or so, perhaps you 'overcooked' itPlease do not quote spam as this enables it to 'live on' once the spam post is removed.

Am starting a 'snow cupboard'. Knowing my luck, we would be snowed in just as we had used the last match.0

I'm going to try and make something like this:
http://shop.scotsman.com/I-DD-DRAUGHT-FUN-1/double-draught-excluder.htm
I guessed if I used some foam rolls, a bit like you get to insulate pipes, and a bit of material with 2 straight pockets sewn in either side, it should work?
i made a double sided one last week, used an old pair of jeans cut off at the leg and then cut down one side to open it out ...... rolled it under the door and then rolled either side up and secured it with a paper clip ....... then sewed it up at either end and rolled it back under the door!
and i am rubbish with a needle and thread but it worked out fine, just need to make another 2 and i'll be happy!
got my bubble wrap and i am going to be putting that on the front door and the side panel later today!0 -

Now, that's a good idea Quilty!
What are you putting in your snow cupboard? I think I would like to adopt this idea too (if you don't mind!)

I just remembered, I never mentioned the challenge I made with my brother this year.
Any gloves, hats or scarfes lying in the sreet, bring them home. I've bunged my find in the washing machine as I've gone along and now have a whole 2 carrier bags full of them. Not all the gloves match but we do have several good pairs, and a beautiful brand new Field and Trek fleece scarf I found outside a hospital.
By the end of the year we have to merge our finds and see if there are anything worth keeping, so far all my finds have been superb quality. I haven't found any kiddies stuff, only adults.I’m a Forum Ambassador and I support the Forum Team on the Old style MoneySaving boards.
