15! gorrrjussly cuddlesome nsds have been successfully snaffooed by Yours Truly :D
I have managed to control my desires surrounding purchasing of recorded sound waves & instead, made Cheffie-boot-shaped hints towards The Offspring possibly acquiring said toons for themselves so I can get to listen for nowt :p

Oh,now BigMummaF you have reached your target and have won the much coveted prize of a gorrjuss candle!

    9undhu.jpg

Are you going to raise your target?

Never mind about spending hard earned money on these toons.
Igor,Cheffie,Hubert and the voles are organising a recording sess as we speak. They apparently can imitate all manner of sea dwelling creatures:
break dancing hump back whale :the voles
    lobster:Cheffie
    stoned seahorse :the voles
    hiccuping cuttlefish:Igor
    farting shark with the giggles:Hubert

And if they all go 'oooooohoooooh' in the background,it's the sound of the wind.
They haven't worked out how the imitate the waves crashing yet....

    Will that do?
  • I just wonder if holding tonight's big end of the month celebration bash is too soon?

Maybe we should hold it on Monday night?

Knit Witch has only just started on the bunting,Cheffie is down to one cauliflower,2 onions and one banananana. His food shop only gets in tomorrow.
The ballroom is covered in cobwebs,we're rapidly running low on loo roll and Cheffie's on the warpath...someone has stolen his last tube of heamorrhoid cream!!!!!

    NSD number 19.

Spent the second half of the morning and early afternoon tidying up the garden. Repotting baby strawberry plants. Have also stripped the bed. Done two loads of washing. Made fresh tomato soup ( using blemished tomatoes from the garden) and put the Sunday dinner on.

Gem-Gem you have made me feel really lazy today. How do you fit it all in :)
Oh dear, what is he like? When I had to share with hime,he kept on farting the opening lines of 'I Feel Pretty',as some kind of lullaby......unfortunately he's tone deaf,so it sounded more like...well I know quite what the word is.The smell wasn't much better.
Maybe you could position your bed in such a way that you head is sticking out the open window?
Or wear a gasmask? You don't have one on you...mm..you can borrow mine! ;)

I had a good night sleep. Went to bed late but still got approx 9 hours sleep ( which is very unusual for me) so woke up with lots of energy. Also when I woke the sun was shining and I always feel more motivated when the weather is good.

The sun usually motivates me too but just not feeling it today, although I did take the dog on a 4 mile forced march :)
